今天采访到的是来自波兰的Atmospheric Stoner/Post-Metal乐队Sunsucker，组建于2024年的Sunsucker乐队虽然是一支很年轻的乐队，目前只发行了两首单曲，但是乐队的每一位成员都是经验丰富的音乐家，甚至有一些成员在童年的时候就已经开始演奏音乐并且为很多不同风格的乐队进行演奏，但是他们对Atmospheric Stoner/Post-Metal这种风格非常痴迷，于是他们走到了一起组建了这支乐队，2025 - 2026年的两首单曲发行之后也是得到广泛的关注和好评，富有情感编曲细腻，优美的旋律令人印象深刻，歌手Ewelina的演唱是整张专辑当中的亮点，听完他们的作品之后也很令人期待他们的新作品，新单曲发行之际乐队也与乐队取得联系进行了一次专访！

Today we’re interviewing Sunsucker, an atmospheric stoner/post-metal band from Poland. Formed in 2024, Sunsucker is a very young band that has released only two singles so far. However, every member is an experienced musician; some even began playing music in their childhood and have performed with bands across a wide range of genres. However, their shared passion for the Atmospheric Stoner/Post-Metal genre brought them together to form this band. Following the release of their two singles in 2025–2026, they garnered widespread attention and acclaim for their emotionally rich, intricate arrangements and memorable, beautiful melodies. Vocalist Ewelina’s performance is a highlight of the entire album. After listening to their work, one can’t help but look forward to their new releases. To mark the release of their new single, we reached out to the band for an exclusive interview!

V: Sunsucker乐队的各位成员，很高兴认识你们，非常感谢你们接受这次采访。我想这是你们乐队首次接受中国杂志的采访。首先，请允许我向所有中国乐迷问好。Sunsucker成立于2025年，是一支非常年轻的乐队。你们最初是如何组建这支乐队的？

Hello members of Sunsucker, nice to meet you and thank you very much for participating in this interview. I think this is the first time your band has been interviewed by a Chinese magazine. First of all, let me say hello to all Chinese fans. Sunsucker was founded in 2025 and is a very young band. How did you form this band in the first place?

S: 中国的朋友们，大家好！我们是在2024年5月组建的乐队。这并非我们的首个音乐项目，我们此前都有丰富的乐队演奏经验，其中一些人甚至从幼年时期就开始了，但当时大家分散在不同的音乐流派和风格中。当我们终于萌生了演奏自己一直想演奏的音乐，即后post-stoner metal的想法时，音乐上的默契从一开始就自然而然地形成了，甚至可以说是从第一次排练开始就水到渠成。

Hello China! We formed the band in May 2024. It’s not our first project - we all had a good amount of experience playing in bands before, some of us since early childhood, but we were kind of scattered across different genres and styles. When we got the idea to finally start playing what we had always wanted to play, which is post-stoner metal, everything clicked musically right from the get-go - literally from the first rehearsal.

V: 你们乐队的所有成员都是第一代成员，所以我认为在创作歌曲时会更加顺手，因为你们彼此非常熟悉，也清楚对方需要创作什么样的歌曲。能介绍一下你们的创作过程吗？

All members of your band are first generation members, so I think it will be more convenient when creating songs because you are very familiar with each other and know what kind of songs each other needs to create. Can you introduce your creative process?

S: 我们的创作过程依赖于集体排练。所有的创意都诞生于排练室。当然，我们有时也会各自构思乐句和概念，但总是在排练时才将它们定稿并发展成完整的编曲。

Our creative process relies on playing together. All of our ideas are born in our rehearsal space. Of course, we sometimes work on riffs and concepts on our own, but it’s always during rehearsals that we finalize them and turn them into full arrangements.

V: 虽然你们乐队只发行了两首单曲，但这两首单曲的录音效果非常出色。你们是在哪家录音室录制的，又是哪位制作人负责制作这两首单曲的？

Although your band has only released two singles, the recording effects of these two singles are very outstanding. Which studio did you record the singles in, and which producer made the singles for you?

S: 这两首单曲都是在波兰比亚韦斯托克的Wem Studio录制的，由杰出的制作人Marek Kubik操刀。巧合的是，我们的吉他手Patryk Kowalewski也在那家录音室工作。他与马雷克共同制作了这些歌曲，我们对最终呈现的音效感到非常自豪。

We recorded both singles at Wem Studio in Białystok, Poland, with Marek Kubik - a great producer. It also happens that our guitarist, Patryk Kowalewski, works at that studio. He co-produced the songs with Marek, and we are really proud of the sound we achieved.

V: 你们音乐的核心是什么？为什么选择这个音乐主题？又想通过这个主题表达什么？你们还创作了歌词部分。这些歌词是谁写的？创作灵感来自哪里？

What is the focus of your music, why do you choose this music theme, and what do you want to express through this music theme? You also created the lyrics section. Who created these lyrics and what inspired them?

S: 我们都希望创作能触动灵魂的音乐，一种具有超越感，却不落俗套的作品。这种音乐不拘一格，不与任何现有的信仰或信念体系挂钩，而是追寻音乐所能引发的深刻精神体验。所有歌词均由我们的主唱 Ewelina Szoda 创作，对她而言，这种深刻的精神体验主题自然而然地通过歌词得以呈现。

We all wanted to create music that speaks to the spirit - something that feels transcendent, but not in a clichéd way. Something that is not straightforward and does not relate to any existing faith or belief system, but instead chases the deep spiritual experience that music can induce. All the lyrics are written by Ewelina Szoda, our vocalist, and for her this theme of deep spiritual experience was natural and easy to capture through lyrics.

V: 你们的标志设计非常独特。是谁为你们设计的这个标志？你们所有的专辑封面都以乐队合影为基础。这些封面的灵感是谁想出来的？

Your logo design is very unique. Who designed this logo for you? All of your album artworks are based on group photos of your band. Who came up with the inspiration for these artworks?

S: 该标志由Bartosz Drozdowski设计并手绘而成。至于封面艺术，它们全都取自我们的音乐录像带。将它们用作单曲封面，感觉非常自然。

The logo was designed by Bartosz Drozdowski and drawn by hand. As for the artworks, they are all snapshots from our music videos. It just felt natural to use them as single covers.

V: 首先，恭喜你们的乐队今年发行了第二支单曲"Heart"。你们的作品非常优美动听，那悠缓而清新的吉他旋律为整首作品画龙点睛。此外，你们对编曲和氛围的把控十分讲究，这让作品更具感染力。曲子节奏舒缓，与你们的风格非常契合。女主唱的嗓音清澈纯净。你们对自己这首作品有什么看法？

First of all, congratulations to your band for releasing their second single "Heart" this year. Your work is very beautiful and pleasant, with a slow and refreshing guitar melody that is the finishing touch of the work. Moreover, you are very particular about arrangement and atmosphere, which makes your work more moving. Your speed is slow, which is very consistent with your style. The female singer's voice is clear and clean. What do you think of your own work?

S: 我们对自己的作品以及创作出的声音效果都感到非常自豪。在编曲选择上，我们力求精益求精。我们的主要目标是营造能够讲述故事并吸引听众的氛围，缓缓抓住你的注意力，让你得以沉思并沉浸其中。此外，我们并不将音乐仅仅视为歌曲。对我们而言，它们更像是一种仪式，一种通向宣泄的音乐冥想。

We’re all really proud of the work we’ve done and the sonic outcome of our compositions. We try to be extremely mindful when it comes to arrangement choices. Our main focus is to create atmospheres that tell stories and pull you in - slowly grabbing your attention and allowing you to meditate and sink in. We also don’t treat our music as just songs. To us, they are a sort of ritual - a musical meditation that leads to catharsis.

V: 哪些乐队对你们乐队产生了影响？能列举一些你们最喜欢的乐队吗？

Which bands have influenced your band? Can you list some of your favorite bands?

S: 当然，主要影响我们的乐队有Deftones、Tool、Gojira和Elder。但我们也试图跳出他们的框架，创造出独一无二的作品。

Sure, the bands that mainly inspire us are Deftones, Tool, Gojira and Elder. But we also try to deviate from what they do and create something unique.

V: 2026年你们有什么新的工作计划？例如，在制作和录制首张正式专辑方面，你们是否已经联系了唱片公司，以便未来由他们发行专辑？

What new work do you have to do in 2026? For example, in terms of creating and recording your first official album, have you contacted a label to release albums for you in the future?

S: 我们目前正在制作首张专辑，计划通过唱片公司发行，但尚未决定与哪家唱片公司合作。

We’re currently working on our first album, and we will try to release it through a label, but we haven’t decided which label we want to work with yet.

V: 虽然你们是一支非常年轻的乐队，但作品非常出色。我会一直关注并支持你们。我也希望通过这次采访，能有更多中国乐迷关注并支持你们。采访即将结束。最后，你们有什么想对中国的乐迷和朋友们说的吗？

Although you are a very young band, your works are excellent. I will always pay attention to and support your band. I also hope that through this interview, more Chinese fans will pay attention to and support your band. The interview is coming to an end.
