Today's interview with a Melodic Metalcore band from Italy, Towards Eden is the brainchild of visionary musician Manu Della Rossa, and it's set to take you on a sonic journey.Della Rossa is passionate about pushing the boundaries of Melodic Metalcore, and this band brings together the Della Rossa is passionate about promoting Melodic Metalcore, a band that brings together the talents of Jumpscare members Graziano Ciccarelli and Andrea Di Martino and the production prowess of Louis Littlebrain from R.O.T. to create an unforgettable musical experience. Through collaborations with members of the band Jumpscare, the project gains extra intensity, creating a dynamic blend that captures the essence of the genre. 1. Hello, brother. Nice to meet you and thank you very much for participating in this interview. I think this is the first time for your band to be interviewed by China magazine. First of all, say hello to China fans. When was Towards Eden founded? Who proposed the formation of this band? What does this band mean?

M: 嘿，伙计!我也很高兴见到你，谢谢你的邀请！这绝对是我第一次接受中国杂志的采访，所以，嗨，中国朋友们，希望你们一切都好。Towards Eden是由Manu（我）于2022年创立的。这个项目对我来说意味着一切，因为我一直想要表达我的想法，用音乐来表达绝对是发生在我身上最好的事情。此外音乐总能帮助我度过难关，所以我也想为人们做同样的事情

Hey Dude! A pleasure to meet you too and thank you for inviting me! This is absolutely the first time for me to be interviewed by a Chinese Magazine, so Hi Chinese friends, hope you all fine Towards Eden was founded by Manu, aka Eden (me) in 2022. This project means everything to me since I’ve always wanted to give voice to my thoughts, doing that with music is absolutely the best thing that could have happened to me. Also, Music in general always helped me to get through everything, so I’d love doing the same for people

V: 你们乐队有多少成员？他们都是第一代的成员吗？你换成员了吗？

How many members are there in your band? Are they all members of the first generation? Have you changed members?

M: 我是目前唯一的主要成员；当我第一次开始这个项目时，我一直在寻找我所在地区的乐队成员，但这种类型的音乐在这里还没有传播开来。尽管如此在我的每首歌中都有来自Jumpscare的乐队成员（我热情地问候他们）和制作人Louis Littlebrain的帮助(他合作了“i 'm Sorry”和最新的一首：“Dream Scenario”!

I’m the only permanent member at the moment; i’ve been searching for band members in my area when i first started this project but this genre still gets no recognition at all here.Despite that, in each of my songs are involved band members from Jumpscare (whom i warmly greet) and the producer Louis Littlebrain (who collaborated on “I’m Sorry” and the latest one:“Dream Scenario”!!

V: 你能介绍一下你的创作过程吗？这首最新单曲的创作过程如何？

Can you introduce your creative process? How did the creation process of the latest single go?

M: 我的创作过程始于歌词；一个“fun fact”是，我的每首歌（你所能听到的）都是在半夜写的。在那时候，你会想知道这首歌接下来会是什么样的，嗯，有很多动机，其中大部分是在半夜写的。

My creative process starts with lyrics; A “fun fact” is that each of my songs (those ones out for you to listen) have been written during sleepless nights. At this point you’ll wonder about the ones coming out next…well, got a lot of material, most of it has been written during sleepless nights.

V: 你们乐队的录音效果非常好。你是在哪个录音室录制这张专辑的？哪个制片人为你做的？

The recording effect of your band is excellent. In which studio did you record the album? Which producer made it for you?

M: 非常感谢！制作一般都是那不勒斯和卡西诺两个人帮忙，然后我在Vault Lab录音室（由Jumpscare的成员建立）录制了人声，而其余的则在非常优秀的制作人Louis Littlebrain的录音室中创作

Thank you so much! The production in general takes place between Naples and Cassino, I recorded the vocals in the Vault Lab Recording Studio (owned by members of Jumpscare) while the rest was created in the studio of the talented producer Louis Littlebrain

V: 你们乐队的Logo设计得很漂亮，谁为你设计的这个Logo？你的专辑封面设计得真漂亮，谁为你设计了这些艺术品？

The logo of your band is beautifully designed. Who designed this logo for you? Your album artwork is really beautifully designed. Who designed these artworks for you?

M: 非常感谢你，伙计！这个Logo是由来自印度尼西亚的设计师Toro设计的！“Dream Scenario”的美术部分是用AI制作的（我真的相信它十分强大，所以我完全相信它们！）剩下的部分是我自己完成的。

Thank you veeery much mate! The logo was created by Toro, a designer from Indonesia! The artwork of Dream Scenario was partially made with AI (I really believe in the powerful instruments it has and so used them for a good reason!) and I personally did the rest.

V: 哪些乐队影响了你的乐队？你能列举一些你喜欢的乐队吗？

What bands have influenced your band? Can you list some bands you like?

This project got most of the influences from international modern metalcore bands, but I always try to put in my songs some peculiarities, like trademarks that could let you say “okay, this is something different, something from Towards Eden. While She Sleeps，Wage War，Atena，Polaris，Imminence，Annisokay，I See Stars

V: 你刚刚发布了你的最新单曲，我非常喜欢你的作品。你受到Modern Metal, Death Metal, Metalcore等风格的影响，你的旋律很美，看来旋律金属核对你的影响很深，而且很有侵略性。你认为你的作品怎么样？

You just released your latest single, and I like your work very much. You are influenced by modern metal, death metal, metalcore and other styles, and your melody is beautiful. It seems that melodic metalcore has a deep influence on you and is very aggressive. What do you think of your work?

M: 谢谢你，我的朋友，我真的很感激！我一直在努力创作这首歌，它是在2024年初创作的，我从这首歌的中间部分开始创作的；之所以它在10月份才出版，是因为我想让它完美；特别是这首歌有很多我自己的东西，我为此感到自豪！

Thank you my friend, I really appreciate it! I’ve been working on this song very much, It was written at the beginning of 2024 and the production began in its half; It only came out in October because I wanted it to be perfect; This track in particular is about something very very personal, and I’m proud of it!

V: 2024年你们乐队会做什么新作品？比如写一些新歌，录制一些新歌，或者参加更多的音乐节，你能告诉我们一些信息吗？

What new work will your band do in 2024? For example, writing, recording some new songs or attending more music festivals, can you tell us some information?

M: 我有一些东西要努力研究；2024年末和2025年的主要部分，我们将专注于让“Dream Scenario”去它需要去的地方！然而我从来没有停止创作，因为每次有更好的想法出现在我的脑海里，我就会开始创作。

I got some stuff on which I’ll work hard; Late 2024 and the major part of 2025 we’ll be focusing on letting “Dream Scenario” go wherever it needs to go! However, the writing process never stopped and it won’t since everytime a deeper thought comes to my mind, the pen hits the sheet

V: 你们乐队参加过哪些音乐节？哪些音乐节给你留下了深刻的印象？你能告诉我们当时的气氛吗？2024年你还打算参加哪些音乐节？

What music festivals did your band participate in? What music festivals left a deep impression on you? Can you tell us about the atmosphere at that time? What other music festivals are you going to attend in 2024?

M: 不幸的是，我还没有参加过任何节日。希望以后有机会！

Unfortunately didn’t participate in any festival yet. Hope there will be the chance in the future!
