今天采访到的是来自墨西哥的Blackened Death Metal / Deathcore乐队Decrypter，组建于2011年的Decrypter乐队已经有了15年的历史，但是乐队在2025年才发行了三首单曲和第一张正式专辑，凶狠毒辣的Riff，阴暗的氛围，构成这支乐队独特的风格，两把吉他的配合相当精彩，鼓手精准，快，狠的鼓点也是他们作品当中的亮点，虽然乐队才刚刚发布了第一张正式专辑，但是他们老道的创作经验与很多老牌乐队相比丝毫不落下风，在他们的第一张正式专辑发行之际乐队取得联系进行了一次专访！

Today we're interviewing Decrypter, a Blackened Death Metal / Deathcore band from Mexico. Formed in 2011, Decrypter boasts a 15-year history, though they only released three singles and their first official album in 2025. Their signature style blends vicious riffs with a dark, brooding atmosphere, featuring exceptional interplay between the two guitars. The drummer's precise, fast, and relentless beats are another highlight of their work. Though they've just released their first full-length album, their seasoned songwriting experience rivals that of many established bands. We connected with them for an exclusive interview as their debut album hits the shelves!

V: 你好兄弟，很高兴见到你，非常感谢你参与本次访谈。我想这是贵乐队首次接受中文杂志的采访。首先向所有国歌乐迷问好。Decrypter成立于2011年，是支历史悠久的乐队。最初是如何组建这支乐队的呢？

Hello brother, nice to meet you and thank you very much for participating in this interview. I think this is the first time your band has been interviewed by a Chinese magazine. First of all, I would like to say hello to all Chinese national anthem fans. Decrypter was founded in 2011 and is a long-standing band. How did you form this band in the first place?

D: 首先感谢贵刊提供专访机会。能接受中国杂志的采访是我们的荣幸，在此向全体中国金属乐迷致以诚挚问候与敬意。Decrypter诞生于2011年，最初是志同道合的朋友们共同推进的音乐企划——致力于创造具有独特风格的极端金属音乐。从创立之初，我们就希望将侵略性、黑暗氛围与概念叙事融为一体。这并非临时起意，而是源于我们对极端金属多年来的崇敬，以及打造真正原创作品的渴望。

First of all, thank you for the space. It's an honor to be interviewed by a Chinese magazine; we send a big greeting and respect to all the readers and followers of metal in China. Decrypter was born in 2011 as a project between friends who shared the same vision: to create extreme music with its own identity. From the beginning, we wanted to combine aggressiveness, dark atmospheres, and a conceptual narrative. It wasn't something improvised; it was the result of years of admiration for extreme metal and the desire to build something authentic.

V: 乐队成员均为创始成员，彼此默契使创作过程事半功倍。能否介绍你们的创作流程？

All members of your band are first generation members, which makes it easier for you to create songs because you are very familiar with each other and know what kind of work you need to create. Can you introduce your creative process?

D: 核心创始成员包括主唱Rodsix、主音吉他手Giovanni Arjona、节奏吉他手Enrique Tejeda。随后鼓手Ozz Barrera与贝斯手Hugo Rodríguez加入乐队。我们的创作通常始于器乐灵感——一段即兴段落、某种氛围或节奏模式——进而发展出完整结构。我们投入大量精力打磨歌曲编排与动态层次。我们力求每个主题既保持独立性，又能融入整体概念框架。随后进入歌词创作阶段，通过叙事构建为音乐增添深度。

The main founding members are Rodsix on vocals, Giovanni Arjona on lead guitar, Enrique Tejeda on rhythm guitar. Later, Ozz Barrera joined the band on drums and Hugo Rodríguez on bass. Our creative process usually starts with an instrumental idea - a riff, an atmosphere, or a rhythmic pattern - and from there we develop the complete structure. We work a lot on the arrangements and dynamics of the songs. We seek for each theme to have its own identity but at the same time be part of a larger concept. Then comes the lyrical part, where the narrative is built to give depth to the sound.

V: 乐队成立于2011年，但作品直至2025年才面世。为何耗时如此之久？

Your band was founded in 2011, but your works were not released until 2025. What is the reason why it took you so long to release your works?

D: 尽管乐队成立于2011年，我们仍决定投入必要时间打磨音乐风格。我们不愿仓促推出作品。期间经历了成员变动、学习成长与音乐进化，项目一度暂停以重新定义音乐类型与创作流程。后来我们更倾向于等待，直至确信作品能真正体现Decrypter的精髓。2025年成为最佳时机，因为我们终于实现了最初构想的音乐质感与制作水准。

Although the band was formed in 2011, we decided to take the necessary time to mature our sound. We didn't want to release something rushed. There were personal changes, learning processes, and musical evolution. The project took a stand-by to redefine the genre and the songwriting process. Later, we preferred to wait until we felt that the material truly represented the essence of Decrypter. 2025 was the right moment because we finally managed to capture the sound and production we had imagined from the start.

V: 你们音乐的核心主题是什么？为何选择这个主题？希望通过音乐传递怎样的表达？是否创作过歌词？歌词由谁创作？创作灵感来源于哪里？

What is the theme of your music about? Why did you choose this music theme, and what do you want to express through this music theme? Have you created any lyrics? Who created these lyrics and what inspired them?

D: 我们的音乐围绕黑暗、宇宙恐怖、人类堕落以及与未知力量的对抗展开。我们汲取恐怖文学与末世般浓郁氛围的灵感。主唱Rodsix创作的歌词受存在主义恐怖影响，探索人类在混沌面前的心智状态。这不仅关乎死亡或残暴，更聚焦内在的追问，以及个体在至高力量面前的渺小。

Our music revolves around darkness, cosmic horror, human decadence, and the confrontation with the unknown. We're inspired by horror literature and dense, apocalyptic atmospheres. The lyrics are created by Rodsix, our vocalist, and are influenced by existential horror and the exploration of the human mind in the face of chaos. It's not just about death or brutality, but about internal questions and the insignificance of being in the face of superior forces.

V: 你们乐队的标志和视觉设计非常精美。这些作品是由谁设计的？创作灵感来源于哪里？

Your band's logo and artwork are beautifully designed. Who designed these artworks for you and what inspired them?

D: 标志和艺术是与一位完全理解我们身份的朋友兼视觉艺术家合作设计的，他的名字叫Emmanuel，我们对他的作品非常感激和满意。我们正在寻找一些优雅但黑暗的东西，其中的元素唤起了神秘、神秘和深度。每一个视觉细节都是为了配合音乐而设计的；这不仅仅是美学，也是解密器全球概念的一部分。

The logo and art were designed in collaboration with a friend and visual artist who perfectly understood our identity, his name is Emmanuel, and we're very grateful and happy with his work. We were looking for something elegant but dark, with elements that evoked mystery, occultism, and depth. Every visual detail is designed to complement the music; it's not just aesthetics, it's part of the global concept of Decrypter.

V: 你们目前尚未与任何唱片公司合作，首张专辑也是自主发行。是否有计划寻找正规唱片公司合作发行专辑？

You currently have not collaborated with any label, including your first album which was also self released. Do you plan to find a legitimate label to collaborate with and release your album?

D: 我们的第一张专辑是自行发行的，因为我们想完全控制创作过程和制作。然而，我们愿意与一个尊重我们的艺术视野并有助于扩大我们的国际影响力的严肃而专业的品牌合作。如果有合适的机会，我们会考虑的。

Our first album was self-released because we wanted to have total control over the creative process and production. However, we're open to collaborating with a serious and professional label that respects our artistic vision and helps expand our international reach. If the right opportunity arises, we'll consider it.

V: 你们的音乐充满黑暗与死亡气息，死亡核元素更使其充满暴力美学。精准迅猛的鼓点、复杂精妙的编排、连绵不绝的高速吉他段落都令我印象深刻。你们如何评价自己的作品？

Your works are full of darkness and a sense of death, and the elements of deathcore make them even more brutal. The fast and precise drum beats, complex arrangements, and fast and continuous riffs have all left a deep impression on me. What is your opinion on your own works?

D: 我们自我批评，总是寻求改进。我们知道我们的声音是黑暗、残酷和技术性的，受到死亡和黑色金属的影响。我们专注于创造密集的氛围、精确的鼓声和传递真实强度的攻击性即兴重复段。我们寻求的不仅仅是残忍，而是传递一种体验。我们希望任何听这张专辑的人都能完全沉浸在我们的声音世界中。

We're self-critical and always seek to improve. We know our sound is dark, brutal, and technical, with influences from death and black metal in general. We focus on creating dense atmospheres, precise drums, and aggressive riffs that transmit real intensity. More than brutality, we seek to transmit an experience. We want whoever listens to the album to feel a total immersion in our sound universe.

V: 你们是否参加过现场演出？哪些演出令你们印象深刻？能否描述当时的现场氛围？2026年还有哪些演出计划？

Have you ever participated in any live performances? Which live performances left a deep impression on you? Can you introduce the atmosphere at that time? What other performances are you planning to participate in in 2026?

D: 我们参加了当地的表演，这些表演深深地打动了我们，尤其是那些公众的能量强烈而真实的表演。那些时刻的气氛难以形容：昏暗的灯光、环绕的声音和与观众的直接联系。2026年，我们计划参加更多的音乐会和节日，我们对国际机会持开放态度。我们希望有一天能把我们的音乐带到亚洲，与来自极端场景的乐队分享舞台。

We've participated in local performances that deeply marked us, especially those where the energy of the public was intense and genuine. The atmosphere in those moments is indescribable: low lights, enveloping sound, and a direct connection with the audience. For 2026, we plan to participate in more concerts and festivals, and we're open to international opportunities. We'd love to take our music to Asia someday and share the stage with bands from the extreme scene.

V: 辑发行后，你有什么新工作要做？例如，在创作新歌时，你能和每个人分享一些信息吗？

What new work do you have to do after the release of the new album? For example, when creating new songs, can you share some information with everyone?

D: 新专辑发行后，我们已经在制作新材料了。我们正在探索更大气、更复杂的声音，而不会失去我们特有的攻击性。我们可以预见，下一项工作将有一个更深入、更黑暗的概念，扩展我们开始构建的宇宙。

After the release of the new album, we're already working on new material. We're exploring even more atmospheric and complex sounds, without losing the aggressiveness that characterizes us. We can anticipate that the next work will have an even deeper and darker concept, expanding the universe we started building.

V: 你们是一支优秀的乐队，我会一直关注和支持你们的乐队。我也希望通过这次采访，更多的人会关注和支持你的乐队。采访即将结束，最后你有什么想对你的中国粉丝和朋友说的吗？

You are an excellent band, and I will always pay attention to and support your band. I also hope that through this interview, more people will pay attention to and support your band.
