英雄之路 - 芬兰Black Metal乐队Noitasapatti专访

今天采访到的是来自芬兰的Black Metal乐队Noitasapatti，2017年由歌手：Erakko、吉他 / 键盘手Liekkiö、吉他手Mielivalta、贝斯手Rampa和鼓手Rienaaja组成，当时Erakko，Liekkiö和Rampa参与的乐队接撒了，但是他们依旧还想继续演奏音乐，所以他们决定组建一支新的乐队，由此Noitasapatti乐队诞生，乐队在创作了几张作品之后，2022年乐队发行了第一张正式专辑“Kuolemattomille maille”，这张专辑由俄罗斯的More Hate Productions厂牌发行，2024年乐队发行了两首单曲也预示着新专辑即将发行，不久之后乐队的第二张正式专辑“Sankarin matka”，这张专辑也有芬兰本土的Inverse Records厂牌发行，新专辑依旧保持着高水准的编曲和制作，新专辑乐队的Erakko除了负责演唱和演奏贝斯之外，还演奏口琴以及喇叭的演奏部分，在新专辑发行之际杂志也与乐队的贝斯 / 歌手Erakko取得联系进行了一次专访！

Today's interview is with Noitasapatti, a Black Metal band from Finland, formed in 2017 by singer Erakko, guitarist/keyboardist Liekkiö, guitarist Mielivalta, bassist Rampa and drummer Rienaaja, when the band Erakko, Liekkiö and Rampa were involved in Noitasapatti was born, and after a few releases the band released their first official album “Kuolemattomille maille” in 2022, which was produced by the Russian band Mielivalta and Rampa. The album was released on the Russian label More Hate Productions, and in 2024 the band released two singles which heralded the release of a new album, followed soon after by the band's second official album, “Sankarin matka”, which was also released on the Finnish label Inverse Records released the album, the new album still maintains the same high standard of arrangement and production, the new album the band's Erakko is responsible for singing and playing bass, but also play harmonica and horn parts, in the new album release of the magazine also got in touch with the band's bass / vocalist Erakko for an exclusive interview!

V: 你好兄弟很高兴见到你，非常感谢你参加这次采访，我想这是你们乐队第一次接受中国杂志的采访，首先向所有的中国歌迷问好，Noitasapatti乐队成立于2017年，是一支拥有七年历史的乐队，当初是谁发起成立这支乐队的？

Hello brother nice to meet you and thank you very much for participating in this interview, I think this is the first time that your band has been interviewed by a Chinese magazine, first of all say hello to all the Chinese fans, Noitasapatti was formed in 2017 and is a band with seven years of history, who initiated the formation of this band in the first place?

E: 大家好，非常荣幸能参加"火山"杂志的采访！是的Noidasapatti乐队成立于2017年春天，由 Erakko（主唱）、Liekkiö（吉他、键盘）、Mielivalta（吉他）、Rampa（贝斯）和Rienaaja（鼓手）组成。我的前一支乐队刚刚解散，Liekkiö和Rampa的前一支乐队也即将解散，因此我认为2017年春天是组建这支乐队的好时机！

Hey there, it's a great honour to participate with Volcano Magazine! Yeah, Noitasapatti was formed back in spring 2017 by Erakko (vocals), Liekkiö (guitars, keyboards), Mielivalta (guitars), Rampa (bass) and Rienaaja (drums). My previous band had just split-up and the same thing was about to happen with Liekkiö's and Rampa's previous band so I think the time was right in spring 2017 to begin with this band!

V: 2021 - 2022新鼓手Häviö和键盘手Kadonnut加入乐队，新成员是如何加入乐队的？你们对新成员满意吗？

2021 - 2022 New drummer Häviö and keyboardist Kadonnut join the band, how do new members join the band? Are you happy with the new members?

E: 是的，我们对新成员非常满意，他们如今已成为Noitasapatti家族的一员！Häviö在2000年代初与Liekkiö在同一支乐队（名为Moira）Kadonnut则是我们通过共同的朋友找到的。他们俩在一个乐队里已经呆了三年多了，但不管怎么说，我很难称他们为“新成员”。

Yes, we are very satisfied with the new members, they are part of the Noitasapatti-family nowadays! Häviö was in the same band (called Moira) with Liekkiö in the early 2000s, Kadonnut we found through mutual friends. Both of them have been in a band for over three years now so it's quite hard for me to call them "new members", but anyway.

V: 你们彼此非常了解，我相信这在歌曲创作时会很有用，能给我们介绍一下你们的创作过程吗？

You guys know each other very well and I'm sure that comes in handy when it comes to songwriting, can you tell us a little bit about your songwriting process?

E: 歌词是我自己写的，但音乐大部分是大家一起创作的。每四位成员都会提出自己的想法，然后我们一起将其完善为歌曲成品。当然所有歌曲都由整个乐队编曲。这种方法很适合我们。

Lyrics are made by me, but music is mostly composed together. Every four members strongly bring their own ideas and then together we'll refine them as finished songs. Naturally, all songs are arranged by the whole band. This method works quite well for us.

V: 你的专辑在录制方面效果非常好，你在哪个录音室录制了专辑？谁为你们制作的专辑？

Your album turned out very well in terms of recording, which studio did you record the album in? Who was the producer who made the album for you?

E: "Sankarin matka"完全是在Liekkiö位于芬兰乌尔维拉的家中录音室录制的。我们对结果非常满意。专辑由Noitasapatti自己制作，Liekkiö负责录音和混音，我们的朋友Arto Lehtinen负责母带制作。

"Sankarin matka" is completely recorded in Liekkiö's home studio in Ulvila, Finland. We are quite satisfied with the result. The album is produced by Noitasapatti itself, recorded and mixed by Liekkiö and mastered by our friend Arto Lehtinen.

V: 你们的音乐主题是什么？为什么选择这个音乐主题，想通过这个音乐主题表达什么？你们写过歌词吗？歌词是谁写的？

What is the theme of your music about? Why did you choose this musical theme and what do you want to express through this musical theme? Did you write any lyrics parts, who wrote those lyrics and what was his inspiration?

E: 我认为很难将Noitasapatti的音乐主题归为一类。它受到了1990年代旋律性第二波Black Metal、Death / Doom, Progressive Rock等多种音乐的影响！我认为我们创造了一种特殊的氛围，你可以从我们的专辑中听到这种氛围，我们想做什么就做什么，没有任何压力，也没有来自任何人的期望。歌词是我自己创作的，它们讲述了一个英雄之旅的故事，一个梦幻般的故事。

I think it's quite hard to put Noitasapatti's musical themes just for one category. There are lots of influences taken from 1990s melodic second wave black metal but also british death/doom, progressive rock and what else! I think we have created this special kind of atmosphere that you can hear from our albums when we just do whatever we want, without any pressure or expectations from anyone. Lyrics are made by me, they tell you a story about a hero's journey, a dreamlike story.

V: 你们的Logo非常独特，是谁设计了你们的Logo？你们专辑的大部分插图都是真实生活中的照片，是谁为你们设计的插图？

Your logo is very unique, who designed your logo, and most of your album artwork is in the form of real-life photographs, who designed the artwork for you?

E: Noitasapatti的Logo是我Erakko，在2017年我们开始组建乐队时制作的。专辑封面和其他作品由Mika Huumonen绘制，乐队照片由Toni Tervonen拍摄。平面设计由Juha Tretjakov制作。感谢Mika, Toni和Juha，一切看起来就像命中注定的那样！

V: 你们曾与More Hate Productions和Inverse Records两家优秀的唱片公司合作发行过专辑，你们是如何与这两家公司取得联系并进行合作的？你是如何与这两个厂牌取得联系并合作的？

You've released albums with More Hate Productions and Inverse Records, both of which are excellent labels, how did you get in touch with these two labels to collaborate? How did you get in touch with these two labels to work with them?

E: 是的，我对与这两家唱片公司的合作非常满意！我寄给他们一些宣传信和我们的音乐样本，我们就和他们联系上了。

Yeah, I'm quite satisfied with what comes working with both labels! We got in touch with both of them when I sent some promotional letters and samples of our music.

V: 首先祝贺你们发行了最新专辑"Sankarin matka"，这是一张冷酷无情的作品，冷酷的旋律给人一种不寒而栗的感觉，其中穿插的键盘乐器是专辑的最大亮点，键盘乐器的存在增强了专辑的整体氛围，你对自己的作品有何评价？你对自己的作品有什么看法？你对自己的作品有何感想？新专辑与旧专辑相比有什么变化吗？

First of all, congratulations on the release of your latest album ‘Sankarin matka’, a cold, unforgiving piece of work, with cold riffs that give you a chilling feeling, interspersed with keyboards that are the biggest highlight of the album, the presence of keyboards to enhance the overall ambience of your album, what do you think of yourself? What do you think of your work? How do you feel about your work? Has the new album changed from the old one?

E: 谢谢您的赞誉！我对"Sankarin matka"这张专辑感到非常自豪，尤其是因为在我们找到 Inverse Records唱片公司之前，出现了很多延误和问题，而且还出现了阵容变动等情况。我们花了很长时间才发行这张专辑，录音是在一年半以前完成的。不过现在比以前更好了。我认为 “Sankarin matka”比我们的第一张专辑“Kuolemattomille maille”更直接，更像是20世纪90年代的第二波Black Metal，少了一点史诗感。这次的歌曲也没有那么长，我非常喜欢用键盘营造的氛围。

Thank you for your kind words! I'm very proud of the "Sankarin matka"-album, especially because there were a lot of delays and problems before we found Inverse Records and there were also line-up changes and stuff. It took quite a long time to release that, recordings have been made over a year and a half ago. But, better later than ever. I think "Sankarin matka" is a little bit more straight-forward album than our first one, "Kuolemattomille maille", more 1990s second wave black metal and a little less epic. There are not so long songs this time. I really like the atmosphere which is made with keyboards.

V: 你的乐队参加过哪些音乐节，哪些音乐节给你留下了深刻的印象？你能描述一下氛围，2025年还有那些音乐节邀请你们参加？

What festivals have your band been to, what festivals have impressed you and can you describe the atmosphere and what other festivals have you been invited to in 2025?

E: 很遗憾，没有太多的音乐节联系过我们，所以我们主要是在俱乐部和其他较小的场所演出。我的梦想是参加Steelfest，一个在Hyvinkää非常著名的地下Black / Extreme Metal Festival！

Sadly, not too many festivals have contacted us, so mostly we have been played in clubs and other smaller venues. Hopefully next year 2025 brings some good performances, my dream is to play in Steelfest, a very famous underground black/extreme metal festival in Hyvinkää, Finland!

V: 你们乐队在2025年有什么新作品在进行吗？比如写歌，录制新歌，你能向大家透露一些信息吗？

What new work is going on with your band in 2025? Like writing, recording some new songs, can you reveal some information to people?

E: 现在我们正在创作第三张全长专辑！八首全新的赞美诗已经准备就绪。目前还没有标题、发行日期或唱片公司！首先我们将录制一些前期Demo，然后在明年晚些时候推出专辑。希望能在 2025 年发行。另外我们正在寻找一些好的演出机会，欢迎联系我们！

Right now we are writing our third full-length album! Eight brand new hymns are quite ready. No titles, release dates or record labels yet! First we will record some pre-production demos, then later next year the album itself. Hopefully it's out in 2025. Also, we are looking for some good gigs, feel free to contact us!

V: 你们是一支伟大的乐队，我会一直支持和关注你们，我也希望通过这次采访能有更多的中国乐迷关注和支持你们的乐队，在采访的最后你们有什么想对中国乐迷说的吗？

You guys are a great band, I will always support and follow you, and I hope that through this interview more Chinese fans will follow and support your band, is there anything you would like to say to your Chinese fans at the end of this interview?
