今天采访到的是来自意大利的Groove Metal / Alternative Metal / Stoner Metal乐队Oigres，组建于2015年的Oigres乐队已经组建了十年，第一张专辑“Psycho”在2019年发行，但是这张专辑的所有歌曲早在90年代末就已经准备好了，但是由于Sergio一直忙于其他的乐队演奏，所以搁置了这张专辑的发行计划，直到Sergio参与的乐队解散之后，Sergio决定重新组建一支乐队，于是Oigres乐队诞生了并且Sergio重新录制了“Psycho”专辑所有的歌曲，而且再重新录制的版本中Sergio还增加一些新的歌曲，于是2019年“Psycho”专辑在英国crashsoundistribution发行，这张专辑发行之后便受到了广泛的好评和关注，Oigres的作品非常独特大家可以在他的作品中听到很多的风格融合在作品中，Groove Metal的元素让这张专辑更加的动听，旋律化，现代化，很容易让一些年轻的歌迷接受，Alternative Metal的元素有让这张专辑更加的另类，独特，迷人，Oigres不仅仅融合了Alternative Metal和Groove Metal元素，还有一些Stoner, Hardcore, Doom和Djent Metal的元素填充了一些空白的地方，可以说这张专辑可以满足众多歌迷的口味，2025年乐队在自己的厂牌Broken Bones Promotion，The Triad Rec和Ghost Record Label发行了新专辑"Don't Stay Close To Me"，在新专辑发行之际乐队创始人Sergio与杂志取得联系进行了一次专访！

The band we interviewed today is Oigres, a Groove Metal/Alternative Metal/Stoner Metal band from Italy. The band was formed in 2015 and has been in existence for ten years. Their first album, "Psycho," was released in 2019, but all the songs on this album were already ready in the late 1990s. However, due to Sergio's busy schedule with other bands, the release plan was put on hold until the band he was part of disbanded. Sergio decided to form a new band, and Oigren was born. Sergio re recorded all the songs on the "Psycho" album and added some new ones to the re recorded version. As a result, the 2019 album "Psycho" was released in Crash South Tribulation in the UK and received widespread acclaim and attention after its release, Oigren's works are very unique, and you can hear many styles integrated into his works. The elements of Groove Metal make this album more melodious, modern, and easily accepted by some young fans. The elements of Alternative Metal make this album more alternative, unique, and charming. Oigren not only integrates the elements of Alternative Metal and Groove Metal, but also fills some gaps with elements of Stoner, Hardcore, Doom, and Djent Metal. It can be said that this album can satisfy the taste of many fans. In 2025, the band will promote on their own label Broken Bones, The Triad Rec, and Ghost Record. Label has released their new album 'Don't Stay Close To Me', and on the occasion of the album's release, the band's founder Sergio contacted the magazine for an exclusive interview!

Hello brother, it's nice to meet you and thank you very much for participating in this interview. I think this is the first time your band has accepted an interview from a Chinese magazine. First of all, let me say hello to all Chinese fans and friends. When was Oires formed? How did you form this band?

S: 你好，这是我第一次有机会向中国金属与摇滚乐迷们问好并致谢，你们真是独一无二的群体，能与你们相遇是我的荣幸！Oigres乐队于2015年正式成立，但首张专辑"Psycho"中的部分歌曲早在90年代末就已完成，只是当时我所在的乐队使用了不同的名称，后来那支乐队解散了。我一直自己创作音乐和歌词，因此大约十年前我决定以另一个名字重新启动这个项目，重新编排那些歌曲并重新录制，同时加入了新歌。

Hi, yes it's the first time I can say hello and thank the amazing Chinese metal and rock fans, a truly unique people, it's an honor for me! The Oigres creature was officially formed in 2015 but some songs that ended up in the first album, "Psycho" were already ready since the late nineties, only that at the time I played in a band with a different moniker, which then split up. I have always composed music and lyrics myself and so I decided to revive the project with another name more or less ten years ago rearranging those songs and re-recording them with the addition of new songs.

V: 目前乐队有多少名成员？你们是否曾经更换过乐队成员？第一代成员为何离开乐队？新成员是如何加入乐队的，你们对他们的工作是否满意？

How many members does the band currently have? Have you ever changed band members? Why did the first generation members leave the band? How did the new members join the band, and are you satisfied with their work?

S: 现在我们可以谈谈一个人的乐队，因为我包揽了所有工作：作曲、录制所有乐器和人声、混音和母带处理。如我所说，其他成员已经不在了，他们没有我对音乐的同样投入，也没有明确的目标，事实上其中许多人已经完全停止了演奏。

Now we can talk about a one man band because I do everything: composition, recording of all instruments and vocals, mixing and mastering. As I mentioned, the other members are no longer here, they didn't have my same idea of dedication to music and they didn't have goals, and in fact many of them have stopped playing altogether.

V: 能否介绍一下你的创作过程？你最近发行了新专辑，新专辑的创作过程进展顺利吗？

Can you introduce your creative process? Have you just released a new album? Is the creative process of the new album progressing smoothly?

S: 我以Oigres为名发布的两张专辑的创作过程都漫长而艰辛，但这张最新专辑尤为如此，因为我更换了乐器、创作手法，甚至部分音乐风格。我选择使用八弦吉他并以一个孤独且心理极度扭曲的人的日记形式来创作歌词。这张专辑并非概念专辑，但仍探讨了心理与社会困扰的主题。我对最终成果感到满意，我觉得你能感受到我为让这张专辑以独特方式呈现所付出的努力。

The creative process for both albums I have released under the moniker Oigres has been long and tiring, but in the case of this latest album even more so, because I have changed the instruments, the approach and also partly the musical style. I chose to use eight-string guitars and to write lyrics as if they were the diary of a lonely and extremely psychologically disturbed person. The album is not a concept but it still deals with the theme of mental and social distress. I am satisfied with the final result, it seems to me that you can feel the effort I put into making this album unique in its own way.

V: 你们乐队的专辑录音效果非常出色。你们是在哪家录音室录制这张专辑的？是哪位制作人帮你们制作了这张专辑？

Your band's album has excellent recording effects. Which studio did you record the album in? Which producer made the album for you?

S: 这真是一个巨大的赞美，因为我也在自己的家庭录音室负责了混音和母带处理！我全程亲力亲为，简而言之，我只想告诉你，我不想让作品过于精致，因此更倾向于一种现场感强且“粗犷”的风格。

This is really a great compliment, because I also took care of the mixing and mastering in my home studio! I did everything myself, in short, I can only tell you that I didn't want a product that was too polished and that therefore I favored a live and "dirty" approach.

V: 你们乐队的Logo设计非常漂亮。是谁为你们设计了这个Logo？你们的专辑封面设计也非常独特。是谁为你们设计了这个封面？

Your band's logo design is very beautiful. Who designed this logo for you? Your album artwork design is also very unique. Who designed this artwork for you?

S: 我也亲自完成了封面设计和Logo。我认为这个Logo简单却有冲击力，它并不花哨，非常简洁线条感强，但我觉得它很有力量。封面设计展现了精神失常的主角，他在专辑的歌词中讲述自己的生活。我认为"Don't Stay Close To Me"的封面非常有冲击力，它令人不安且病态。

I also did the artwork and logo myself. I think the logo is simple but impactful, it's not too stylized, very simple and linear, but I think it has strength. The artwork represents the mentally disturbed subject who tells his life in the lyrics of the album. I think the cover of "Don't Stay Close To me" is very impactful, it's disturbing and sick.

V: 您的全新专辑通过Broken Bones Promotion唱片公司发行，这是一家非常优秀的唱片公司。您是如何与这家唱片公司取得联系并展开合作的？您对这家唱片公司的运作是否满意？

Your new album was released on the Broken Bones Promotion label, which is an excellent label. How did you get in touch with this label to collaborate? Are you satisfied with the work of this label?

S: 看，这非常简单，这是我的唱片公司，感谢你们的赞美！不过，还有两家唱片公司参与了这次发行，分别是The Triad Rec和Ghost Record Label。其他唱片公司也对这次发行感兴趣，但我更希望亲自掌控一切。

Look, it was extremely simple, it's my label and thank you for the compliments! However, two other labels collaborated on this release, namely The Triad Rec and Ghost Record Label. Other labels were also interested in this release, but I preferred to have everything under control personally.

V: 首先祝贺你们乐队今年发行了新专辑"Don't Stay Close to Me"。这张专辑融合了Groove / Storm / Post Metal等元素，使你的作品更加悠扬悦耳，同时也带有一些后忧郁。这使你的工作更具替代性，但非常有吸引力。你对自己的工作有什么看法？

First of all, congratulations to your band for releasing their new album "Don't Stay Close To Me" this year. This album incorporates elements such as groove/storm/post metal, making your work more melodious and pleasant, as well as some post melancholy. This makes your work more alternative, but very attractive. What is your opinion on your own work?

S: 我的观点是，这张专辑设法融入了你所谈论的一切，也许还能创造出自己的流派。我们可以称之为Oigres风格吗？有非常坚硬和沉重的部分，与更Melodic和Alternative时刻交替出现，带有Stoner, Hardcore, Doom和Djent Metal的味道。但正如你所说和所指出的，我总是试图考虑旋律和歌曲形式，使歌曲听起来很悦耳并且对许多人来说结构简单。

My opinion is that the album manages to incorporate everything you talked about and maybe manages to create a genre of its own. Can we call it Oigres style? There are very hard and heavy parts that alternate with more melodic and alternative moments, with a touch of stoner, hardcore, doom and djent metal. But as you said and noted, I always try to take into account the melody and the song form, making the songs pleasant to listen to and have an accessible structure for many.

V: 除了今年发行一张新专辑，你的乐队还有什么其他工作要做？你能和大家分享一些信息吗？

What other work does your band have to do besides releasing a new album this year? Can you share some information with everyone?

S: 乐队不做现场表演，只做专辑，尽管我再说一遍，乐队就是我！所以我希望在这张专辑上继续努力，试图将Oigres的声音进一步发展成更具原创性的东西。对我来说，录制新音乐总是一个新的挑战，我尽量不重复同一张专辑两次。

The band doesn't do live shows but only albums, even though the band, I repeat, is just me! So I hope to follow up on this album, trying to further evolve the Oigres sound into something even more original. For me, recording new music is always a new challenge, and I try to never repeat the same album twice.

V: 你参加过哪些音乐节，哪些音乐节给你留下了深刻的印象？你能介绍一下当时的现场气氛吗？2025年你打算参加哪些音乐节？

Which music festivals have you participated in, and which ones have left a deep impression on you? Can you introduce the live atmosphere at that time? Which music festivals are you planning to participate in in in 2025?

S: 正如我所说的，我没有计划将这个项目上线。我过去曾在其他乐队担任鼓手和歌手，现场气氛总是很神奇，让我有机会与许多人一起表达我的愤怒和创造力，将观众带入我的艺术维度。但Oigres认为，这仍然只是一个工作室项目。这是一件非常亲密的事情。

To no one, as I said I have no plans to bring this project live. I have played in the past both as a drummer and as a singer in other bands and the live atmosphere is always magical and has given me the opportunity to express all my anger and creativity with many people, dragging the audience into my artistic dimension. But Oigres believes that it will remain only a studio project. It is a very intimate thing.

V: 作为一支优秀的乐队，我将永远支持和追随你们的乐队。我也希望通过这次采访，更多的人能够了解并追随你的乐队。最后，你有什么想对你的中国粉丝和朋友说的吗？

As an excellent band, I will always support and follow your band. I also hope that through this interview, more people can get to know and follow your band. Do you have anything you want to say to your Chinese fans and friends in the end?
