瑞典作为Death Metal非常重要的国家之一，在这个国家孕育了大量经典的乐队，也孕育了自己国家独特的Death Metal风格，今天采访到的就是来自瑞典的一支非常优秀的乐队Puteraeon，组建于2008年的Puteraeon乐队最初由Jonas组建，主要为了创作Stockholm Old School Death Metal，随着乐队的发展，Jonas希望乐队能够一个完整的阵容，随即邀请了Daniel, Anders和Hasse加入乐队，随后乐队在2008 - 2009年期间发行了一些Demo作品，这些作品发行之后乐队也被德国的Cyclone Empire厂牌签约发行了第一张正式专辑“The Esoteric Order”，但是在第一张专辑发行之前Hasse由于个人问题退出了乐队，2010年Rune Foss加入了乐队并且录制了第一张正式专辑“The Esoteric Order”，这套阵容也保持至今，第一张专辑发行之后乐队便收到了广泛的关注与好评，随后乐队陆续发行了多张精彩作品都收到好评，也让他们收到很多大型音乐节的邀请，也让Puteraeon乐队受到更多的关注，2025年乐队在丹麦Emanzipation Productions厂牌发行了最新专辑“Mountains of Madness”，在新专辑发行之际杂志通过Emanzipation Productions厂牌与乐队的创始人Jonas取得联系进行了一次专访！

As one of the countries where Death Metal is very important, Sweden has nurtured a large number of classic bands and its own unique Death Metal style. Today's interview is with Puteraeon, a very excellent band from Sweden. Puteraeon was originally formed by Jonas in 2008, mainly to create Stockholm Old School Death Metal. With the development of the band, Jonas hoped that the band could have a complete lineup, so he invited Daniel, Anders, and Hasse to join the band. Subsequently, the band released some demo works during 2008-2009. After the release of these works, the band was also signed by the German Cyclone Empire label to release their first official album "The Esoteric Order". However, Hasse withdrew from the band due to personal issues before the release of the first album. In 2010, Rune Foss joined the band and recorded their first official album "The Esoteric Order". This lineup has been maintained to this day. After the release of the first album, the band received widespread attention and praise. Subsequently, the band released many wonderful works that received positive reviews, which also made them receive a lot of praise. The invitation to a large-scale music festival has also brought more attention to Puteraeon band, who will be in Denmark in 2025 Emanzipation Productions has released their latest album "Mountains of Madness", and on the occasion of the album's release, the magazine contacted the band's founder Jonas through Emanzipation Productions for an exclusive interview!

Hello brother, it's nice to meet you and thank you very much for participating in this interview. I think this is the first time your band has been interviewed by a Chinese magazine. First of all, let's say hello to all Chinese fans and friends. Puteraeon band was founded in 2008 and is a long-standing band with a long history. Who proposed the formation of this band?

J: 嗨，谢谢你支持我们的乐队。正如你所说，Puteraeon早在2008年就开始了，是我（Jonas）的一个副项目。我想做更多Stockholm Old School Death Metal 项目。这个项目不断发展，需要成长为一个乐队。这让我结识了Daniel, Anders和当时的Hasse。

Hi and thanks for supporting our band. Puteraeon was as you say started back in 2008 as a side project to me (Jonas). I wanted to do more of a Stockholm oldschool death metal project. The project evolved and it needed to grow to a band. That lead me to hook up with Daniel, Anders and at the time Hasse.

V: 你的乐队基本上保留了第一代成员，但在2010年更换了一位吉他手。为什么第一代吉他手离开了乐队？这位新吉他手是怎么加入乐队的，你对他们的工作满意吗？

Your band basically maintains the first generation members, but changed one guitarist in 2010. Why did the first generation guitarist leave the band? How did the new guitarist join the band and are you satisfied with their work?

Hasse was a good friend but unfortunally not as technically skilled guitarplayer. So he had trouble keeping up with the songs. It lead to his departure from the band before the recording of the first studio album "The esoteric order". We remained good friends with him until his way to early death back in 2019. Rune who replaced Hasse has been a true member of the band since he joined. He is an absolute great guy which we all love to be around. And he's one hell of a guitarplayer aswell.

V: 你们乐队的每个成员都是制作Death Metal的经验丰富的音乐家。你能介绍一下你的创作过程吗？新专辑的创作过程进展顺利吗？

Each member of your band is an experienced musician in creating death metal. Can you introduce your creative process? Is the creative process of the new album progressing smoothly?

We usually do it like this. I write around 80-90% of the songs and Rune does the rest. We usually write at home, building the song ourselves and when we have a song we present it to the rest of the guys. Usually it's without any lyrics at this stage. I normally have an idea about what riff is what. This is the chorus, this is the verse and so on. When we have all the songs basicly done i write the lyrics and add that upon the songs. Then we rehearse them and do minor changes that we notice in rehearsals. The process is sometimes smooth and sometimes hard. Sometimes you have a great flow when you write the music, and sometimes you have to struggle to write something you feel sounds good.

Every album of your band is excellent in terms of recording. Which studio did you record your albums in? Which producer did you produce the album for you? Did the recording process of the new album go smoothly?

J: 我们在自己的工作室Hatecraft录制了这张专辑并由大师Dan Swanö混音。这一次的录音中，我们发现一个麦克风（用于人声）使用不当，但为时已晚。所以把所有的文件都发给丹后，他回来告诉我们。我们没有注意到这一点。问题是使用的麦克风前后颠倒，导致信号不够好。我们不得不重新录制所有的人声，但另一方面，我自己，我相信这之后的人声会好得多，我不得不重新录制。

We have recorded this album in our own studio Hatecraft and it has been mixed by the master Dan Swanö. The recording this time around, we noticed too late that one microphone (for the vocals) was used incorrectly. So after sending all the files to Dan, he came back and told us. We had not noticed this. The problem was that the microphone that was used was back to front, wich caused the signal to be not good enough. We had to re-record all the vocals, but on the other hand, i myself, i believe the vocals turned out so much better after this, so good i had to re-record them.

V: 你的Logo设计很漂亮。谁为你设计了这个Logo？你的专辑艺术品也设计得很漂亮。谁为你设计了这些专辑艺术品？

Your logo design is very beautiful. Who designed this logo for you? Your album artworks are also beautifully designed. Who designed these album artworks for you?

J: 这个Logo最初是由我儿时的老朋友Johan Ryding设计的。Ola Larsson完成了极其美丽的"Mountains of madness"封面艺术作品。这让我大吃一惊。

The logo was orinially done by Johan Ryding, an old childhood friend of mine. Ola Larsson has done the extremely beautiful "Mountains of madness" cover artwork. Totally mindblowing in my eyes.

V: 死亡、僵尸、克苏鲁神话、恐怖是你的音乐主题。你为什么选择这样的音乐主题？你想通过这些音乐主题表达什么？你还创建了歌词部分。谁创作了这些歌词，是什么启发了他们？

Death, Zombies, Cthulhu Mythos, Horror are your music themes. Why did you choose such music themes? What do you want to express through such music themes? You also created the lyrics section. Who created these lyrics and what inspired them?

J: 它与音乐完美契合。大约10年前，我们开始真正专注于Lovecraft主题。也许15年前，时间过得真快。我创作了所有的歌词，并且是所有专辑中唯一一个这样做的人。

It fits the music perfectly. Since 10 years back or so, we started to really focus on Lovecraft themes. Well mayby 15 years back, time runs fast. I do all lyrics and have been the only one doing it throughout all the albums.

V: 你曾与Emanzipation Productions和Cyclone Empire等唱片公司合作发行专辑。这些标签都很好。你是如何与他们建立联系的？你对这些品牌的工作满意吗？

You have collaborated with labels such as Emanzipation Productions and Cyclone Empire to release albums. These labels are all excellent. How did you establish contact with them? Are you satisfied with the work of these brands?

J: 早在90年代，当我的老乐队Taetre在他的唱片公司发行了几张专辑时，我们就认识了EMZ的Michael。随着时间的推移，我们一直保持联系，所以联系他并不是一个艰难的选择。我认为事情进展得很好。

We have known Michael from EMZ since back in the 90's when my old band Taetre released a couple of albums on his labels. We have stayed in touch over time so it wasn't that hard choise to reach out to him. It has been working out good i think.

First of all, congratulations to your band for releasing their latest album "Mountains of Madness" this year. I am a loyal fan of yours and have been following you for a long time. Your works have left a deep impression on me. You are a classic old school band with radical melodies, aggressive Riff, fast and continuous, giving a very brutal feeling. The drummer's fast and stable hitting is also the biggest highlight of your album, and the singer's deep and powerful roar is also the biggest highlight of the album. Have there been any changes compared to the old album? Do you have any opinions on your own works?

J: 非常感谢你！我们只是每次都努力做得更好。我们知道我们想做什么，我们总是试图从上次开始完善它。这就是茁壮成长，创作更好的歌曲。

Thank you very much! We just try to do it better every time really. We know what we wanna do and we always try to perfect it from last time. That is the thrive, to compose better songs.

V: 作为一个老乐队，你参加过许多音乐节。哪些音乐节给你留下了深刻的印象？你能介绍一下当时的现场气氛吗？2025年还有其他音乐节邀请你参加吗？

As an old band, you have participated in many music festivals. Which music festivals have left a deep impression on you? Can you introduce the live atmosphere at that time? Are there any other music festivals in 2025 that invite you to participate?

J: 我们真的没有玩过那么多节日。当然。现在我们夏天要去塞尔维亚，我认为这是除了我们在哥德堡的发布派对之外唯一的官方演出。但我认为今年秋天会有更多的演出。

We havn't been playing that many festivals really. Right now we are going to Serbia during the summer, and i think that is the only official gig except for our releaseparty in Gothenburg. But i think there will be alot more shows this autumn.

As a classic old band, I am a loyal fan of your band and I will always support and follow your band. I also hope to attract more Chinese fans to follow and support your band through this interview. Do you have anything to say to your Chinese fans in the end?
