反战宣言 - 丹麦Death / Black Metal乐队Panzerchrist专访

今天采访到的是来自丹麦的金属乐队Panzerchrist（武装基督），这是一支成立于1994年的老牌乐队。乐队经历过多次的人员变动，也经历过短暂的解散休整，但乐队对于音乐的热爱始终如一。幸运的是，乐队里始终都有优秀热爱金属的乐手们，Panzerchrist在20多年间也逐渐积累了大量优秀的专辑。2025年8月22日，乐队将要发行下一张专辑《Maleficium - Part 2》。在新专辑发行前夕，杂志与Panzerchrist取得了联系并进行了这一次专访。

Today's interview features the Danish metal band Panzerchrist, a veteran band formed in 1994. The band has undergone multiple lineup changes and a brief hiatus, but their passion for music has remained unwavering. Fortunately, the band has always been home to talented musicians passionate about metal, and over the past 20 years, Panzerchrist has accumulated a wealth of outstanding albums. On August 22, 2025, the band will release their next album, Maleficium - Part 2. In the lead-up to the album's release, the magazine reached out to Panzerchrist and conducted this exclusive interview.

V: Hey！非常感谢Panzerchrist参加这次的采访，向乐队的所有人问好！这应该是你们第一次接受来自中国的金属杂志的采访，可以请你们先简单地介绍一下Panzerchrist吗？乐队是什么时候成立的？现在的各位成员们是怎么认识的？

Hey! Thank you very much to Panzerchrist for participating in this interview. Greetings to everyone in the band! This should be your first interview with a Chinese metal magazine. Could you please start by briefly introducing Panzerchrist? When was the band formed? How did the current members meet?

P: 乐队由Michael Enevoldsen于1994年在离开Illdisposed后成立。他曾担任Illdisposed的鼓手并在Panzerchrist的前几张专辑中担任鼓手。我于2001年或2002年认识迈克尔。他希望在一段时间的休整后重新启动Panzerchrist。随后我们创作了"Room Service"。我在2006年"Batallion Beast"发行后离开了乐队。快进到2022年—Michael发信息问我是否愿意为他的项目录制几段独奏。我已经多年没演奏了，但还是答应了。他已经为"Last of a kind"创作了音乐。我们通过Target的MHA联系了Sonja并与客座鼓手Danni J录制了音轨。Danni因主乐队事务繁忙，我们便让他离开了。我在他家乡的一场演出后遇到了Ove——邀请他加入乐队，他很快便加入了。Sonja认识Danny Bo，因为他们之前在同一支乐队，所以他加入是顺理成章的事。快进到2025年。在创作完"Maleficium"后，Michael离开了乐队，幸运的是Rune当时有空。

The band was formed by Michael Enevoldsen in '94 after he left Illdisposed. He used to play drums in Illdisposed and he also played drums on the first couple of Panzerchrist albums. I met Michael in 2001 or 2. He wanted to restart Panzerchrist after some down time. We then wrote Room Service. I left after Batallion Beast in 2006. Fast forward to 2022- Michael texted me and asked if I was up for doing a couple of solos for his project. I hadn't played in years, bud said yes. He already wrote the music for ”Last of a kind”. We contacted Sonja through MHA of Target, And we recorded with session drummer Danni J. Danni was too busy with his main band, so we let him go. I bumped into Ove after a show in his home town – offered him the gig, and he joined shortly after. Sonja knew Danny Bo from their previous band, so that was a no brainer for him to join. Fast forward again to 2025. After having written Maleficium, Michael stepped down from tha band, and luckily Rune was available.

V: Panzerchrist这个名字真的很酷！可以说说为什么乐队叫这个名字吗？

The name Panzerchrist is really cool! Can you tell us why the band chose this name?

P: 我认为原因是这样的：当时的主唱Lasse Hoile，部分灵感来源于Dark throne的专辑Panzerfaust。

I think the story is that Lasse Hoile, the vocalist back then, partly inspired by the Dark throne album Panzerfaust.

V: 你们的音乐歌词经常涉及战争和反宗教的主题，请问为什么你们会选择以这些内容为主题展开音乐创作呢？你们创作这些歌词的灵感从何而来？

Your lyrics often touch on themes of war and anti-religion. Why did you choose these topics as the focus of your music? Where did you get the inspiration for these lyrics?

P: 很多歌词都源自真实故事——主要是关于女巫和女巫审判的。LAOK基于哥本哈根的一系列女巫审判，名为“哥本哈根女巫审判”。我想反宗教的元素自然而然地融入其中，因为这些事件是以教会名义进行的。在Sonja加入之前，乐队的主題是战争题材，涉及坦克——Michael很喜欢坦克。在重组乐队时，Michael希望彻底改变乐队的主题，因为坦克题材已经被用烂了。

A lot of the lyrics come from true stories- mostly about witches, witch trials. LAOK was based on a series of witch trials in Køge called ”Køge huskors” I suppose the anti religion aspect naturally come in as these events was carried out in the name of the church. Before Sonja joined it was the war-thing with tanks- Michael loves tanks. When re-booting the band Michael wanted to change the whole theme of the band as the tank thing had been done to death.

V: Panzerchrist的音乐既有Death Metal的残暴，也有Black Metal独有的冰冷氛围，请问你们在编曲是是如何平衡这二者的？在今年的8月22日你们即将发行新专辑"Maleficium - Part 2"。在主题上，这张新专辑是你们上一张专辑"Maleficium - Part 1"的延续吗？

Panzerchrist's music combines the brutality of death metal with the cold atmosphere unique to black metal. How do you balance these two elements in your compositions? On August 22nd of this year, you will release your new album, Maleficium - Part 2. In terms of theme, is this new album a continuation of your previous album, Maleficium - Part 1?

P: "Maleficium"是"pt. 1"的延续，两张专辑的歌曲是在同一时间录制的。"Maleficium"更倾向于Death Metal风格，这是有意为之。这两张专辑的录制都是以Oves的鼓点风格为参考。专辑中的氛围感明显为音乐增添了氛围感。

Maleficium is a continuation of pt. 1, and the songs were recorded at the same time. The Maleficium leans more towards more death metal , which was intentional. The albums were recorded with Oves drumming style in mind. The atmospheric bits obviously give the music an atmospheric touch

V: 我非常喜欢来自新专辑的歌曲"On Walpurgis night"，这首歌的人声表现非常有力，同时还有动听又残酷的吉他riff。我很想知道这首歌的歌词在讨论什么主题，可以分享一下吗？

I really like the song “On Walpurgis Night” from the new album. The vocals are very powerful, and there are beautiful yet cruel guitar riffs. I'd love to know what the lyrics are about. Can you share that with me?

P: 谢谢，Walpurgis night是指四月三十日的那一夜，据传说，女巫们会聚集在一起，庆祝春天的到来。这幅画面描绘了经典的女巫聚会场景，她们骑着扫帚在锅周围跳舞。专辑封面也受到了这一主题的启发。专辑艺术由#NecroBelial创作，他同时也为Horned Almighty创作作品。

Thanks Walpurgis night is the night of the 30 of april when witches, according to myth gather to mark the coming of spring. It is sorta paints the picture of the classic imagery of a witches gathering, flying on brooms dancing around a cauldron. The album cover is also inspired by this. The album art was done by # NecroBelial who also dis stuff for Horned Almighty.

V: 在新专辑发行之后，你们有什么演出计划吗？你们计划怎样去推广这张新专辑？

Do you have any performance plans after the release of your new album? How do you plan to promote it?

P: 我们将在丹麦举办一系列演出，一直持续到2025年结束。之后我们可能会重新开始创作。

We are doing a number of shows in Denmark through 2025. After that we might start writing again.

V: 许多看过Panzerchrist演出的观众们评价你们是：“会把所有的力量发挥在舞台上的乐队”，我看了许多youtube上的演出视频之后也非常同意这个说法。请问你们是如何保持每场演出都有高涨的能量舞台上发挥的？

Many audience members who have seen Panzerchrist perform have described you as “a band that puts all their energy into their stage.” After watching many of your live videos on YouTube, I completely agree with this comment. How do you maintain such high energy levels and perform so powerfully on stage at every show?

P: 首先，我们真的很喜欢现场演出。我们非常享受那种团队合作的感觉。至于精力水平——我的意思是，这确实是一项非常辛苦的工作，但正如Exodus所说……这都是关于“友好而充满暴力的乐趣”。我特别喜欢音乐节，在那里你可以遇到一些很棒的人——见到老朋友，结交新朋友。

First of all- we really love playing live. We really enjoy the cameraderie. As for energy levels- I mean it is really hard work doing this, but as put by Exodus....it's all about ”Good friendly violent fun”. I especially enjoy the festivals, where you get to meet awesome people- old friends and new.

V: 你们有很多的作品，可以选5首你最喜欢的Panzerchrist歌曲吗？如果要给没有听过你们的音乐的人推荐Panzerchrist，你会选择哪一首歌呢？

You have a lot of songs. Can you pick your top 5 Panzerchrist songs? If you had to recommend Panzerchrist to someone who hasn't heard your music before, which song would you choose?

P: 目前没有特定的顺序，Harmbidder、Walpurgis、Weep no more、At the grave、Mist on the mote。如果要描述我们乐队：Panzerchrist经历了许多变动。显然，当Reno在乐队时，他的鼓点是乐队的重要组成部分。在Maleficium专辑中，随着Ove的加入，我们某种程度上回归了那种风格。前两张专辑则有所不同，Michael的鼓手风格截然不同。他过去打鼓时风格极为凶猛。

In no particualar order at the moment, Harmbidder, Walpurgis, Weep no more, At the grave, Mist on the mote. If I were to describe the band: Panzerchrist has had a lot of constellations. Obviously when Reno was in the band, his drumming was a big part of it. We have somewhat returned to that on the Maleficium albums with Ove on board. The first two albums are somewhat different, Michael being a different style of drummer. He used to play fkn heavy drums.

V: 相比于挪威和瑞典的Death Metal以及Black Metal，丹麦的极端金属乐场景似乎更加“低调”，你们认为这种情况的原因是什么呢？

Compared to Norway and Sweden's death metal and black metal scenes, Denmark's extreme metal scene seems to be more “low-key.” What do you think are the reasons for this?

P: 至于Black Metal音乐场景——嗯，挪威和瑞典（程度较轻）都兴起了Black Metal热潮。丹麦直到多年后才开始流行Black Metal。我认识很多瑞典乐队，但对当地音乐场景了解不多，不过瑞典是个更大的国家，人口更多，自然音乐场景也更庞大。

As for the scene- Well, Norway and to a lesser extent Sweden had the whole Black metal thing going on. Black metal didn't catch on in Denmark until years later. I know a lot of swedish bands, but not a lot about the scene, but it's a bigger country which means more people and obviously a bigger scene.

V: 很多的听众都对丹麦的极端金属场景非常感兴趣，虽然大部分听众对于丹麦的极端金属比较陌生，可以就你们观察到的来介绍一下丹麦的金属乐场景吗？

Many listeners are very interested in Denmark's extreme metal scene, although most listeners are relatively unfamiliar with it. Could you give us an overview of Denmark's metal music scene based on your observations?

P: 全国各地的中小型音乐节越来越多，其中当然也包括Copenhell音乐节。尽管Copenhell显得相当商业化，且似乎正朝着不同的音乐方向发展，但它确实将金属音乐带给了大众。极端金属音乐场景中的乐队数量也在不断增加——这一领域确实正在蓬勃发展。

There are more and more smaller festivals all over the country and obviously Copenhell. Although being quite commercial and seeming to going in a different direction, Copenhell brings metal to the masses. Theres more and more bands in the extreme metal scene- its really growing

V: 你认为Panzerchrist和其他来自丹麦的极端金属乐队有何不同？可以分享一下你认为对你们影响最大的金属乐队有哪些吗？

How do you think Panzerchrist differs from other extreme metal bands from Denmark?

Can you share some of the metal bands that have had the biggest influence on you?

P: 我想我们还挺快的——吃得快，拉得快，节奏炸裂。我仍然热爱我成长过程中听的八十年代音乐——Motorhead、Maiden、Saxon、Sabbath、Ozzy（请安息）。我也是个重金属乐迷——Exodus简直太棒了——Slayer，甚至老Metallica、Testament以及整个德国重金属乐坛，比如Kreator和Sodom。不过我也喜欢九十年代的黑金属乐队——Immortal、Darkthrone和Satyricon。其他人比我更偏爱重金属风格。

I suppose were pretty fast- Over eats and shits blast-beats. I still love the eighties stuff i grew up with- Motorhead, Maiden, Saxon, Sabbath, Ozzy (R.I.P). I'm also a huge thrash metal fan- Exodus fkn rules- Slayer, even old Metallica Testament and all the german thhrash metal scene klike Kreator and Sodom. But also the Black metal stuff from the 90'ies- Immortal, Darkthrone and Satyricon. The others are way more into more heavy stuff than I am.
