我自愿被你吃掉 - 印度尼西亚Brutal Death Metal乐队Abhorrently专访

今天采访到的是来自印度尼西亚的Brutal Death Metal乐队Abhorrently，组建于2022年的Abhorrently乐队最初由Sahrul Ramadhan，Eko Aryo Widodo和Era Ferali组建，最初乐队取名为Egregious，由于Era Ferali要前往土耳其工作所以无奈退出乐队并且由Jossi Bima取代了歌手的位置，2024年乐队发行了第一张Demo作品，虽然只有两首作品，但是完美的演绎Abhorrently乐队的风格，2025年乐队在美国著名厂牌New Standard Elite发行了1第一张正式专辑“Flagitiousness of Cannibalism”，一张经常的美国式风格作品诞生。熟悉印度尼西亚乐队的歌迷都非常了解，这个国家的乐队非常痴迷于美国式风格，在新专辑发行之际杂志与乐队歌手Jossi Bima取得联系进行了一次专访！

Today's interview features the Indonesian brutal death metal band Abhorrently. Formed in 2022, Abhorrently was originally founded by Sahrul Ramadhan, Eko Aryo Widodo, and Era Ferali, with the band initially named Egregious. However, Era Ferali had to leave the band due to work commitments in Turkey, and Jossi Bima took over as vocalist. In 2024, the band released their first demo, which, despite only containing two tracks, perfectly captured the band's style. In 2025, the band released their debut album, “Flagitiousness of Cannibalism,” through the renowned American label New Standard Elite, marking the birth of a work steeped in American-style aesthetics. Fans familiar with Indonesian bands know that bands from this country are deeply obsessed with American-style music. On the occasion of the new album's release, the magazine conducted an exclusive interview with the band's vocalist, Jossi Bima!

Hello Jossi, nice to meet you and thank you very much for participating in this interview. I think this is the first time your band has been interviewed by a Chinese magazine. First of all, let me say hello to all Chinese fans. In which year was Abhorrently founded? How did you form this band?

J: 嗨，很高兴见到你，兄弟。是的，我认为这是第一次。Abhorrently乐队成立于2022年，最初名为Egregious，成员包括Era Feralli（吉他与主唱）和Sahrul Ramadhan（鼓手） 签约NSE，但在Daniel Osborn时代，所有权后来转移到了Ryan Baker手中。到2023年底，我们再次联系NSE，告知我们的首张专辑素材已完成并希望继续合作以实现与NSE的首张专辑。在聊天过程中，我们还讨论了将乐队名称从Egregious改为Abhorrently。当专辑录制过程开始时，Era Ferali因在土耳其有无法委托的工作而辞职 因此他不得不前往土耳其工作。当时，我们也在努力寻找Era Ferali的替代者，最终找到了Jossi Bima（Invigorate）和Eko Aryo（Anthropophagus Depravity）来接替Era Ferali在首张专辑中的吉他与主唱位置。

Hi, nice to meet you too bro. Yes i think this is for the first time. Abhorrently was formed in 2022 with the initial name Egregious consisting of Era feralli (guitar and vocals) and Sahrul ramadhan (drums) signed with NSE but in the Daniel Osborn era before changing ownership to Ryan Baker and at the end of 2023 we tried to contact again to inform that our first album material was finished and we wanted to continue our collaboration to realize our first album with NSE and in between the chat we also discussed changing our band name from Egregious to Abhorrently and when the album recording process was underway Era ferali resigned because there was work in Turkey that could not be delegated so he had to go to Türkiye to work. At that time, we were also struggling to find a replacement for Era Ferali until we finally found Jossi Bima (Invigorate) and Eko Aryo (Anthropophagus Depravity) to replace Era Ferali on guitar and vocals on our first album.

V: 你们的乐队只有三名成员。你能介绍一下你们的创作过程吗？

Your band only has three members. Can you introduce your creative process?

J: 关于创作过程或者说为我们的首张专辑创作素材。我们三个人也很快就能收集新点子并将其整合成一个统一的构思。因为我们是多年的好友，且在乐队之外也经常交流想法，所以在创作过程中并未遇到重大障碍。

Regarding the creative process, or creating material for our first album. The three of us were also quite quick to gather new ideas and combine them into a unified thought. Because we've been friends for a long time and exchanged ideas outside of this band, we didn't encounter any major obstacles in the process.

V: 你们的专辑录音效果非常出色。你们是在哪家录音室录制这张专辑的？是哪位制作人为你们制作了这张专辑？

Your album has excellent recording effects. Which studio did you record the album in? Which producer made the album for you?

J: 我们在这张专辑的录制过程中使用了三间不同的录音室。鼓的录制在Volcanic Studio完成，吉他和贝斯的录制在Cobra Cave Studio进行，而人声的录制则在Ultra Organic Studio完成。 在混音和母带处理阶段，我们委托了Tone Better SoundLab的Ridho来处理这张专辑的音频素材。他在这方面经验丰富并且与其他乐队合作时也取得了令人满意的结果。

We recorded this album in three different studios. We recorded the drums at Volcanic Studio, the guitar and bass at Cobra Cave Studio, and the vocals at Ultra Organic Studio. For the mixing and mastering process, we entrusted the material for this album to Ridho from Tone Better SoundLab, who is experienced in this field and has collaborated with other bands with satisfactory results.

V: 你们的Logo设计非常独特。是谁为你们设计了这个Logo？新专辑的封面艺术也非常美丽。是谁为你们设计了这幅封面艺术？

Your logo design is very unique. Who designed this logo for you? The artwork on the new album is also very beautiful. Who designed this artwork for you?

J: 我们的Logo由Max McMullen / Intravenous Design设计，他也是乐队Excrescence的成员，同时也是NSE唱片公司的签约艺人。艺术作品由伟大的Rudi GorgingSuicide创作，他以众多令人惊叹且极具冲击力的作品而闻名。

Our logo was created by Max McMullen / Intravenous Design, also a member of the band Excrescence, also on the NSE roster. The artwork was created by the mighty Rudi GorgingSuicide, known for his many impressive and sick works.

V: 你的音乐主题是什么？为什么选择这样的音乐主题？你希望通过这个音乐主题表达什么？你还创作了歌词部分，这些歌词是谁创作的，他们的灵感来源是什么？

What is the theme of your music about? Why did you choose such a music theme? What do you want to express through this music theme? You also created the lyrics section, who created these lyrics and their inspiration

J: 对于音乐部分，我们选择了一种快速、原始的风格，带有一丝血腥味。因为我们延续了前成员创作和选定的素材，而他们恰好选择了这种风格，我个人也非常喜欢这种风格，这为Aryok和我带来了新的挑战。 对于这张专辑中歌曲的歌词，我借鉴了生物（包括人类和动物）的食人特性，无论是自觉还是不自觉，它们都可能为了生存而做出令人毛骨悚然、令人作呕且贪婪的行为。

For the music, we chose a fast, raw theme with a hint of gore. Because we were continuing material written and selected by our previous members, who chose this genre, and I also happen to quite like this genre, this presented a new challenge for Aryok and me. For the lyrics contained in the songs on this album, I adapted the cannibalistic nature of living creatures, both humans and animals, who, consciously or unconsciously, can commit horrific, disgusting, and greedy acts to survive.

Your band's new album this year was released on the New Standard Elite label in the United States, which is a great label. How did you get in touch with this label to collaborate? Are you satisfied with the job at this brand?

J: 我们通过电子邮件联系了NSE并发送了专辑的Demo版本供其考虑，同时提出了合作制作首张专辑的建议。Daniel Osborn对此作出了积极回应，最终我们成功合作完成了这一项目。我们对与NSE合作制作首张专辑感到非常满意和高兴。希望未来能继续合作，共同完成即将推出的第二张专辑。

We tried to contact NSE via email and sent a demo for the label to consider and offered to collaborate on our first album. Daniel Osborn responded positively, and we finally worked together to make it happen. We are very satisfied and happy to have collaborated with NSE on our first album. Hopefully, we can collaborate again on our upcoming second album.

V: 首先，恭喜你们的乐队今年发行了新专辑。这是一张非常美式风格的作品，节奏快速、连贯且密集，鼓点稳健而迅猛，给我留下了深刻印象。你们的演唱也非常的Sick。你们对自己作品的评价如何？

First of all, congratulations to your band for releasing a new album this year. It is a very Americanized work with fast, continuous, and dense riffs, stable and fast drummers, which left a deep impression on me. Your singing also satirizes Sick. What do you think of your own work?

J: 非常感谢你的认可。我们相信我们在首张专辑的制作中已经尽了最大努力。我们对最终成果感到非常满意，包括封面设计、混音和母带处理。我们也明白，有些人可能会喜欢或不喜欢这些成果，而我们已经接受了这一点。我们还将尝试新的元素并将其作为评估即将发布的第二张专辑的基础。

Thank you so much for your appreciation. We believe we gave our best in the material on our first album. We are quite satisfied with the results, including the artwork, mixing, and mastering. We also realize that some people will like or dislike the results, and we have accepted that. We will also try new nuances and use them as a basis for evaluation for our upcoming second album.

V: 你目前参与的乐队是否进行过现场演出？

Has your band I currently participated in live performances?

J: 目前，我们可能会参加一些活动，进行现场表演并带来我们首张专辑中的作品，以向新观众介绍Abhorrently。

For now, we'll probably be attending some events here to perform live and bring material from our first album to introduce Abhorrently to a new audience.

What new tasks does your band need to undertake after the release of the new album? Can you share some information with everyone?

J: 目前，我们可能会专注于为即将到来的活动进行现场表演的排练。我们也已经开始为第二张专辑创作新作品并希望能够为所有作品呈现最佳效果。

Right now, we'll probably be focusing on practicing for live performances at some upcoming events. We've also started writing new material for our second album, and we hope we can deliver the best for all of it.

V: 尽管你们是一支非常年轻的乐队，但你们确实是一支非常有前途的乐队。我将始终支持并关注你们的乐队。最后你们有什么想对中国的粉丝和朋友说的吗？

Although you are a very young band, you are indeed a very promising band. I will always support and follow your band. Do you have anything to say to your Chinese fans and friends in the end?
