今天采访到的是来自意大利的Metalcore乐队Let Them Fall，成立于2013年的老牌乐队Let Them Fall在组建不久之后便录制一些作品并且开始在意大利巡回演出，2016年乐队更换了目前的阵容并且一直至今没有更换过成员，这样也让乐队成员之间产生了很高的默契，精彩，复杂的编曲，快速，连续的Riff，可以看出来乐队成员的高超演奏技术，女歌手低沉有力的咆哮也给所有歌迷留下了深刻印象，虽然目前有一些女性歌手参加金属乐队，但是Let Them Fall乐队的女歌手是目前我听到过最有力度的歌手之一，今年乐队也刚刚发布了最新单曲“Nine Worlds”，新单曲发行之际杂志与Let Them Fall乐队取得联系进行了一次专访！

Today's interview was with the Italian band Metalcore, Let Them Fall. Founded in 2013, the veteran band recorded some works shortly after its formation and began touring Italy. In 2016, the band changed its current lineup and has not changed any members ever since, which has also created a high level of tacit understanding among the band members. The wonderful and complex arrangement, fast and continuous Riff, show the superb playing skills of the band members. The deep and powerful roar of the female singer also left a deep impression on all fans. Although some female singers are currently participating in metal bands, the female singer of Let Them Fall is one of the most powerful singers I have heard so far. This year, the band's female singer is one of the most powerful singers. The latest single "Nine Worlds" has just been released, and the magazine and Let Them Fall band contacted for an exclusive interview!

Hello brother, nice to meet you and thank you very much for participating in this interview. I think this is the first time your band has been interviewed by a Chinese magazine. First of all, let's say hello to all Chinese fans. When was Let Them Fall founded? How did you form this band?

L: “嗨，伙计们！很高兴认识你们！很高兴来到Volcano Magazine！Let Them Fall是一支自2013年以来一直活跃的乐队，来自一个老高中乐队的经历，我们以更严肃的方式重新定义了这个项目，开始录制我们的第一张EP，并在意大利各地进行了第一次现场演出。”

“Hi guys! Nice to meet you! It’s a big pleasure to be here at Volcano Magazine! Let Them Fall is a band active since 2013, coming from an older high-school band experience we redefined the project in a more serious way starting recording our first EP and making our first live shows around Italy”

V: 你们乐队的成员都是第一代吗？你换过会员吗？新成员是怎么加入乐队的？你对新成员的工作满意吗？你的歌手是个女性，现在很多女音乐家都加入了金属乐队。你是怎么邀请这位女歌手加入乐队的？

Are all members of your band from the first generation? Have you ever changed members? How did the new members join the band? Are you satisfied with the new member's job? Your singer is a woman, and now many female musicians have joined metal bands. How did you invite this female singer to join the band?

L: “目前LTF的阵容实际上已经快10年了，我们在2016年找到了完美的平衡，我们对此感到非常满意，因为每个成员都在混音中加入了一些个人元素，结果非常棒。Rita是乐队的前成员，她在金属类型中的首秀非常自发，尽管几年来金属中的女歌手很少。”

“The current LTF’s line up is almost 10 years old actually, we found the perfect balance in 2016 and we couldn’t be more happy with it cause every member adds something personal to the mix and the result is awesome. Rita is a former member of the band and her debut in the metal genre was very spontaneous even though the examples of female vocalists in metal were fewer back in the years.”

Each of you members is an experienced musician who creates Melodic Metalcore style. Can you introduce your creative process? I believe your creative experience will bring inspiration to more musicians.

L: “我们的创作过程其实并不特别，我们只是一起写音乐，我们总是从有人想出的一个很酷的即兴重复段开始，一步一步地塑造乐器，直到我们对我们所做的感到满意。然后我们添加人声、歌词和一些基本的制作层次，Demo准备好了！”

“Our creative process is not so particular actually, we just write music all together and we always start with that one cool riff someone came up with and shape the instrumental step by step until we’re satisfied with what we did. Then we add vocals, lyrics and some basic production layering and the demo is ready!”

V: 你们乐队的每一部作品在录音方面都很出色。你在哪个录音室录制了这张专辑？哪位制作人为你制作了这张专辑？你今年刚刚发行的最新单曲的录制过程顺利吗？

Every work of your band is excellent in terms of recording. Which studio did you record the album in? Which producer made the album for you? Did the recording process of your latest single just released this year go smoothly?

L: “我们和朋友Bernardo Grillo在家乡格罗塞托（托斯卡纳）的工作室录制了我们的最新单曲。然后我们把曲目寄给了Harry Tadayon，他添加了管弦乐分层和所有制作材料，最后这首歌被送到了Jarno Bellasio进行混音和母带制作。这有点复杂，但结果很棒！”

“We recorded our latest single in a studio here in our hometown Grosseto (Tuscany) with our friend Bernardo Grillo. Then we sent the tracks to Harry Tadayon who added the orchestral layering and all the production stuff and finally the song was sent to Jarno Bellasio for mixing and mastering. Its a bit complicated but the result is super!”

You have collaborated with many excellent labels to release albums. How did you establish contact and cooperate with these labels? Are you satisfied with the work of these brands?

L: “2018年，我们与一家已经不存在的名为Antigony Records的唱片公司合作，发行了我们的第一部长篇"Wolftales"，这一切都始于一段良好的友谊，而不是商业关系。目前我们完全靠自己，没有厂牌。如今作为一个独立乐队真的很难，所以我们很高兴能找到像Wanikiya Record这样的好新闻办公室，这对我们帮助很大！”

“In 2018 we collaborated with a label that doesn’t exist anymore called Antigony Records for the release of our first full length “Wolftales” and it all started more as a good friendship than as a business relationship. At the moment we’re entirely on our own and we don’t have a label. Being an independent band can be really hard these days so we’re glad to have found such a good press office as Wanikiya Record that has helped us a lot!”

V: 你的音乐主题是什么？你为什么选择这个音乐主题，你想通过这个音乐主题表达什么？你还创建了歌词部分。谁创作了这些歌词，是什么启发了他们？

What is the theme of your music about? Why did you choose this music theme, and what do you want to express through this music theme? You also created the lyrics section. Who created these lyrics and what inspired them?

L: “我们的音乐歌词深受挪威神话和奇幻文学/游戏的启发。我们选择这个主题，基本上是因为我们只是5个喜欢以各种形式玩gdr的书呆子。关于歌曲的实际主题，我们的音乐传达了谁希望成为更好的自己，摆脱过去的恶魔，这是一段自我提升和意识的旅程。”

“Our music’s lyrics are strongly inspired by norse mythology and fantasy literature/games. We chose this thematics basically because we’re just 5 nerds who love playing gdr in every form. Regarding the actual topics of the songs our music speaks to the heart of who wishes to become a better version of himself and get rid of the demons of the past, a journey of self improvement and awareness.”

V: 你的Logo设计很漂亮。谁为你设计了这个Logo？你的专辑艺术品也设计得很漂亮。谁为你设计了这些专辑艺术品？

Your logo design is very beautiful. Who designed this logo for you? Your album artworks are also beautifully designed. Who designed these album artworks for you?

L: “实际上LTF的Logo相当古老，它是由我们一位不再从事该行业的老朋友制作的。这些艺术品都是我们吉他手Mario的作品。”

“The LTF logo is pretty old actually, it has been made by an old friend of ours that is not in the business anymore. The artworks are all our guitarist Mario’s works.”

First of all, congratulations on the release of your latest single this year. It is a melodious and passionate work, and the vocals of the singer are one of the best I have ever heard. He switches back and forth between clear voice and roar, leaving a deep impression on me. The frequent arrangement is the most outstanding aspect of this single. What is your opinion on your own work? Is there any change between the new work and the old one?

L: “谢谢你的赞美之词！我们很高兴你喜欢它！我们对结果非常满意，我们认为我们找到了一个很好的融合，将我们的金属核背景与史诗和民间元素融为一体。显然我们希望做得更好，我们一直在寻求提高我们的写作技巧。”

“Thank you for the kind words! We’re so happy that you liked it! We are pretty satisfied with the result and we think that we found a good blending, mixing our metalcore background with epic and folk elements. Obviously we wish to do even better than that and we’re always looking to improve our skills in writing.”

V: 你参加过哪些音乐节，哪些音乐节给你留下了深刻的印象？你能介绍一下当时的现场气氛吗？2025年还有其他音乐节邀请你参加吗？

Which music festivals have you attended and which ones have left a deep impression on you? Can you introduce the live atmosphere at that time? Are there any other music festivals in 2025 that invite you to participate?

L: “我们不得不说，即使在我们的国家，我们也很难找到现场表演。到处都是才华横溢的乐队，现场俱乐部很少，所以我们不经常现场表演，但我们希望很快宣布更多的表演，把我们的作品带到它们所属的地方，在舞台上。”

“We have to say that we’re struggling a bit to find live shows, even in our country. There are a lot of talented bands everywhere and the live clubs are very few so we do not play live very often but we hope to announce more shows soon to bring our works where they belong. On a stage.”

You are an excellent band, and I will always pay attention to and support your band. I also hope that this interview will attract more Chinese fans to pay attention to and support your band. Do you have anything you want to say to Chinese fans in the end?
