今天采访到的是一支来自法国的Noise / Goregrind乐队Bioculus Phlyctaenulosial Scrofulosa，最初乐队由Jammes一个人在2022年创建，期初乐队想做一些类似于Biocyst这样乐队的作品，随后Jammes在Instagram认识了鼓手Adri病切邀请Adri加入乐队，随即他们开始创作，在2023年发行了第一张Demo作品，一张充满了Noise，Sick的作品，虽然在录音方面乐队还需要提高，但是这样的录音效果却很好的体现出乐队的风格吗，嘈杂，刺耳的Noise Riff很好的体现出Noise的元素，一些Goregrind乐队的演奏技巧，让他们的作品更加的Sick，乐队的创始人Jammes则是在Noise / Goregrind这种风格中创建了很多的乐队病切还创建了自己的厂牌Misanthropic Mental Vomit Productions发行自己乐队的作品，虽然Bioculus Phlyctaenulosial Scrofulosa乐队是一支非常地下的乐队，但是他们的作品却还是非常值得所有歌迷关注的，在前不久杂志与Jammes取得联系进行了一次专访！

V: 你好兄弟很高兴见到你，非常感谢你参加这次采访，我想这是你们乐队第一次接受中国杂志的采访，首先向所有的中国歌迷问好，Bioculus Phlyctaenulosial Scrofulosa乐队成立于哪一年？你们是如何想到组建这支乐队的？
Hello brother nice to meet you and thank you very much for participating in this interview, I think this is the first time your band has been interviewed by a Chinese magazine, first of all say hello to all the Chinese fans, Bioculus Phlyctaenulosial Scrofulosa was formed in what year? How did you come up with the idea for this band?
J: 嘿，伙计！非常感谢你对BPS的兴趣！是的你们所有人你好（甚至不知道我们在中国是众所周知……）嗯，我们在2022年底开始了这个项目。实际上这是我第一个Gorenoise项目。在（Congenital Lipodystrophy Abuse, Bizarre Cadaveric Smell）之后不久我做了个人项目，我们想做一些类似于Biocyst的事情。这个名字实际上来自Non-Surgical Modification专辑中的一首歌曲。有趣的是我们发现这个名字没有任何医学意义，但对我们来说听起来很酷。
Hey man ! Thanks a lot for your interest shown in BPS! And yeah, 您好 to you all ! (Didn't even knew whe were known in China...) Well we started this project in late 2022. It is actually my first gorenoise project. I did solo projects shortly after (Congenital Lipodystrophy Abuse, Bizarre Cadaveric Smell) but yeah, first act. We wanted to do something in the vein of Biocyst. The name actually comes from a track in the Non-Surgical Modification album. What's funny is that we discovered after that there wasn’t any medical meaning for this name. But it sounded cool for us.
V: 你们乐队有两名成员，这给写歌带来了很大的便利，因为你们可以按照自己的方式写歌，能介绍一下你们的创作过程吗？
You have two members in the band, which makes it very convenient when writing songs because you can write songs the way you want to, can you describe your writing process?
J: 其实很简单：Adri开始他负责打鼓，然后加入贝斯，我们住在两个不同的城市，所以他把音轨发给我，然后我加入自己的歌声。我把曲目混音后就可以了！瞧，就这么简单，哈哈。关于采样，这要看情况，有时是Adri，有时是我。
Well it's quite simple : Adri starts. He makes the drums and add the bass after. We live in two different cities so he send me the tracks and I add my vocals. I mix the tracks and we're ready ! See, it’s that easy haha. About samples it depends, sometimes that's Adri and sometimes that's me.
V: 你们乐队只有两名成员，你们是如何认识的，又是如何邀请另一名成员加入乐队的？
There are only two members in your band, how did you meet, and how did you invite the other member to join the band?
J: 当时我通过Instagram与我在wallow Mucus Diarrhea中认识的Adri聊天。很明显我们在交流音乐和Goregrind。渐渐地我们成了网友，这一切都源于我说要成立自己的厂牌并问他是否可以给我寄个Demo什么的来发行。经过一番讨论我们决定一起录音。我们集思广益讨论了影响因素和想要营造的氛围，最终于2022年12月5日以数字形式发布了Demo。不久之后我在Misanthropic Mental Vomit Productions发行了CDr版本（2023 年 1 月 8 日）
At the time I was talking through Instagram with Adri that I knew from Swallow Mucus Diarrhea. We were exchanging about music and goregrind obviously. Getting at a point where we became internet friends. It all started when I talked about starting my own label and asked him if we whould be down to send me a demo or something to release it. After some discussion we decided to record together. We brainstormed about the influences, the ambiance we wanted to create and we finally released a demo digitally the 5th december 2022. Shortly after I released it on cdr on the said label, Misanthropic Mental Vomit Productions (January 8th 2023).
V: 你的音乐主题是什么？为什么选择这样一个音乐主题，你们想通过这样一个音乐主题表达什么？
What is the theme of your music about? Why did you choose such a musical theme and what do you want to express through such a musical theme?
J: 嗯，把死人放在我们身上并不是个人的事情，因为这是风格中固有的东西，最早是在80年代开始的。但我们对它有自己的看法。展示尸检照片，带有BPS的法医文件，不仅仅是令人震惊的价值。这是一种批评世界的方式，我们的世界，更确切地说，是人类。看到一具尸体让我们回到我们真正的样子：骨骼和有机组织。对我来说这是一种虚荣的形式。在某种程度上，这是一种纪念死亡的方式。我认为Pathological Goregrind非常有趣。它真的展示了人类的小规模：尸检的尸体，病理学，器官。同时它总是添加一种消极的方法，例如外科手术失败的想法。展示人类在微小和精确的尺度上是什么，可以是一种谴责更大群体、人类的方式。这是我们对此的看法，每个人都有自己的生活方式。我也喜欢愚蠢的厌世和色情主题，但它必须是神秘的，并且很好地结合在一起。愚蠢和有趣的项目对我来说只是垃圾，让这种体裁以其他方式出现，而不是它应该出现的方式。
Well, putting dead people isn’t something personal to us, in the sense that it’s something that is inherent to the style and was first started in the 80’s. But we have our opinion on it. Showing autopsy pictures, forensic files with BPS, isn’t just shocking value. This is a way to critize the world, our world and more precisely human beings. Seeing a dead body bring us back to what we really are : bones and organic tissues. It is a form of vanity for me. A memento mori in a way. Pathological goregrind is quite interesting for that I think. It really show human beings at a small scale : autopsied corpses, pathology, organs. While always adding a negative approach to it, an idea of failure in surgical procedures for exemple. Showing what humanity at a small and precise scale is, can be a way of denoncing a larger mass, humanity. It is our take on it, everybody lives the style differently. I also like dumb misanthropic shit and porno themes too but it has to be uncanny and well put together. Stupid and funny projects are just shit to me and make this genre in other way that it was supposed to be.
V: 你的Logo设计得很漂亮，适合Goregrind的音乐风格，它是谁为你设计的，谁设计了大部分照片写实风格的专辑封面，这些艺术品是谁为你们设计的？
Your logo is beautifully designed to fit Goregrind's style of music, who designed it for you and who designed most of your album artwork which is photo-realistic?
J: 非常感谢！Logo是我自己设计的。至于艺术品它们都是写实的，因为图像都是真实的。除了一些唱片公司设计的封面外，大部分封面都是我设计的。
Thanks a lot ! I designed the logo myself. And for the artworks, well yes they are photo-realistic because the images are real. And I designed most of the covers except a few designed done by some labels.
V: 你们的所有作品都由一个名为MISANTHROPIC MENTAL VOMIT PRODUCTIONS的厂牌发行，能简单介绍一下这个厂牌吗？
All of your works are released on a label called MISANTHROPIC MENTAL VOMIT PRODUCTIONS, can you briefly tell us about this label?
J: 我们并没有在这个厂牌上发行所有的Spilt/Demo。我们与Busted Bags of Biological Waste Recs、Regurgitated Stoma Stew Prods、Tapeworm Prods、Sickening Shit、Bothersome Fly Recs和Fistula Recs一起发行过一些作品。MMVP是我的厂牌和BPS 一样，也是我在2022年底成立的。我发行CDr、磁带和专业CDr。我与Tapeworm Productions和Fistula Recordz也有很多合作，共同发行一些东西。
We haven't released all our splits/demos on this label. We have released some shit with Busted Bags of Biological Waste Recs, Regurgitated Stoma Stew Prods, Tapeworm Prods, Sickening Shit, Bothersome Fly Recs and Fistula Recs. MMVP is my label. I started in the end of 2022, like BPS. I release cdr, tapes and pro cdr. I work a lot with Tapeworm Productions and Fistula Recordz too by co-releasing shit.
V: 你们的作品给我留下了很深的印象，残酷、混乱的旋律刺激着我的耳膜，加上一些Sick样品，让你们的作品更加Sick，歌手的歌声还加入了特效，使其更加恐怖、Sick，你们对自己的作品有什么看法吗？
I'm very impressed with your work, brutal, chaotic riffs that irritate my eardrums, plus some Sick samples to make your work even more Sick, and effects added to the singers' vocals, which makes it even more horrifying, Sick, do you have any thoughts on your work?
J: 嗯，我们尽量让它变得越恶心越好。我们的声音相当刺耳，有时也会变得很酷，有Groovy节奏，就像你提到的那样。我认为它给歌曲的氛围增添了一些东西，它很黑暗，很消极。这也允许我们创作出更有结构的歌曲。Adri受到“Stop and Go”类型的Grind乐队的很大影响。我想这就是它的来源，Biocyst也有很酷的部分，我想这是所有这些影响的混合。对于我的声音，我只是试着重现呕吐的声音。对于采样我们试图使用一些从未使用过的样品并给出一些原创的东西，但有时你知道一些好的老式剥削电影击中目标。
Well we try to make it as disgusting as possible. Our sound is quite harsh and sometimes it gets groovy too, with actual riffs, like you mentionned. I think it adds something to the atmosphere of the track, it’s dark and negative. It also permits to get more structured tracks. Adri is very influenced by « stop and go » type of grind bands. I think it comes from that. Biocyst also had groovy parts, it’s a blend of all these influences I guess. For my vocals, I simply try to recreate the sound of someone vomiting. For the samples we try to use some never used ones and give something a bit original but sometimes you know, some good old exploitaiton movies hit the spot.
V: 你们乐队在2024年有什么新的工作，比如创作，录制更多的作品，你能透露一些信息吗？
What kind of new work do you have coming up for your band in 2024, such as writing and recording more material, and can you shed some light on that?
J: 我们计划与Urinologist和Urinary Tract Infection From Severe Pus Clots乐队合作一张3 Way Spilt。除此之外我们还考虑在2025年制作一张全长专辑，这是一个漫长的过程。不过我们最近一直很活跃。我们与日本一个很棒的项目THE KILLER MUST KILL AGAIN合作发行了一盘Spilt磁带。我们还与CYSTIC HYGROMA发行了一张Spilt CD-R。在我看来这是最变态的项目之一，而且背后还有一位好朋友！差点忘了我们还发行了前两年活动的专业CDr合辑！
We have a 3-ways split planned with Urinologist and Urinary Tract Infection From Severe Pus Clots. Besides that we are thinking about making a full length for 2025. A loooonnng session. But we have been pretty active as of recently. We have released a split tape with a great project THE KILLER MUST KILL AGAIN from Japan. We also released a split CD-R with CYSTIC HYGROMA. One of the sickest project in my opinion and it’s a good friend behind it ! Oh ! Almost forgot, we have unleashed a pro cdr compilation from the first 2 years of activity too!
V: Bioculus Phlyctaenulosial Scrofulosa是一支非常地下的乐队，但你们的作品给我留下了深刻的印象，我会一直关注和支持你们的乐队，也希望通过这次采访能有更多的中国乐迷关注、支持和了解你们的乐队，虽然你们是一支非常小众、非常地下的乐队，但你们是值得推广和关注的。在采访的最后你们有什么想对中国歌迷说的吗？
Bioculus Phlyctaenulosial Scrofulosa is a very underground band, but your work has left a deep impression on me, I will always follow and support your band, and I hope that through this interview more Chinese fans will follow, support and get to know your band, although you are a very niche, very underground band, you are worth promoting and paying attention to. Do you have anything you want to say to your Chinese fans at the end of this interview?
J: 非常感谢你的话和关注，没想到离我们这么远的人竟然知道并喜欢我们浸满鲜血的噪音垃圾。向所有人致敬，保持Sick。
Thanks a lot for your words and attention, never thought that people living that far from us whould and even know and like our gore soaked noise shit. Cheers to everybody, stay sick.
