今天采访到的乐队是来自美国的ViVi Vex。这是一个十分有意思的乐队，ViVi Vex被描述为一个克隆生命体，所有的音乐都是ViVi Vex所创作。同时乐队也为她设计了许多故事和形象，并拍摄了MV。乐队在音乐风格上也是多样的，融合了新金属核、地壳朋克、黑金属、刺耳噪音、力量电子等等，音乐也更加偏向新派核乐。在9月底左右，乐队即将到中国来演出。而本次我们也联系到了乐队主创做一次专访

The band we interviewed today is ViVi Vex from the United States. This is a very interesting band, and ViVi Vex is described as a cloned life form, with all the music created by ViVi Vex. At the same time, the band also designed many stories and images for her, and filmed music videos. The band has diverse music styles, incorporating new metal cores, crustal punk, black metal, harsh noise, power electronics, and more. The music is also more inclined towards new-style nuclear music. Around the end of September, the band will come to China to perform. And this time we also contacted the band's creator for an exclusive interview

Hello, greeting from China. Thank you for accepting our interviews. First could you introduce ViVi Vex to China friends? Maybe this is the first time that ViVi Vex comes to China.

I: ViVi Vex是一位“合法制造的克隆人”，自学了多种学科和技能。她会唱歌、写歌词、演奏合成器，还会用钢琴音符和歌唱旋律为其他音乐家作曲。她还曾使用焊工为现场表演设计打击乐器。她设计时装、戏服、电影道具和舞台道具以及电影背景和舞台背景。她制作了自己的电影 The Broadcaster’s Dilemma并设计了电影的服装、道具和背景。她还在创作自己的电子游戏，这是一款角色扮演游 被称为Realms of Dirt

ViVi Vex is a "legally manufactured clone" who has taught herself a variety of subjects and skills. She sings, writes lyrics, plays synthesizers, and composes music for other musicians using piano notes and sung melodies. She has also used a welder to design percussion instruments for live performances. She designs fashion, costumes, film and stage props, and film and stage backdrops. She produced her own film, The Broadcaster’s Dilemma, and designed the film’s costumes, props, and backdrops. She is also working on her own video game, a role-playing game called Realms of Dirt.

Before she died, she was an artist in Jacksonville, Florida. Florida is a place of tropical jungles, vast swamps, clear springs, charming beaches and dilapidated cities. Florida is both beautiful and ugly. Florida is a multicultural state, but its main population is the wealthy upper class, most of which are white. The upper class sees other cultures as lower class and labor. Lower class cultures are mainly composed of Latinos, Caribbeans, African Americans, Native Americans, and Rednecks. People from these cultures rarely make it to the upper class. ViVi Vex was born into a family of redneck, Latino, and Caribbean descent. Her mother's family is of redneck descent, while her father's family is of Cuban descent. Her family is a mix of lower class and middle class. Her father disowned her when she was 12. Her mother also disowned her several times when she was 14, 18, and 24. She hasn't spoken to her father's family since she was 12, and her mother's family since she was 24. She was homeless several times in her youth and an older man forced her into prostitution until she was 23. America is an extremely difficult place to live in for people who are not born into wealth. The underclass is at constant risk of homelessness, and the homeless are at constant risk of death. ViVi Vex sold the rights to use her biological and genetic information to private companies in the United States. She did this to survive, but unfortunately, she died soon after. Her biological and genetic information was auctioned off to multiple companies, and a company called World ViVi Vex Industry was formed.

All the promotional videos that I look have a sense of fear. Why do you want to choose these horrible sense to make the videos? What do you want to express by these videos?

World ViVi Vex Industry guarantees that any clone who shows fear will not be mistreated. No clones were harmed in the making of any promotional videos. When a clone is no longer fit for work, they are sent to a beautiful farm where they spend eternity playing games with other clones. Most of the movie and music promotional videos aim to convey the horror and hardship that ViVi Vex endured both in life and after death. The music video for the song titled Spange is meant to express the hardships of people who are homeless and forced into prostitution by abusers who think they are the masters of humanity. The word "Spange" is a combination of the words "Spare" and "Change" and is used by homeless people to ask for money. "Spange" is a verb used by "Crust Punks" between the ages of 20 and 40. The word originated in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia

The symbols serve different purposes. One symbol represents ViVi Vex in her lifetime, another symbol represents her many clones, and another symbol represents a company called World ViVi Vex Industry.

Let’s talk about your music. Yes, your music is weird and twist, which is mixing nu-metalcore and industrial. So what do you think of your music and how did you create that? Do you think your music has helped shape the character of ViViVex or the character help listener understand your music. In other words, what’s the relationship between the character of ViViVex and the your music?

I: ViVi Vex从她的文化成长经历中汲取灵感，将传统的乡巴佬、拉丁裔和加勒比音乐元素融入雷鬼、金属核、朋克、噪音等现代音乐流派。ViVi Vex饱受磨难，饱受虐待，这些都是她每首歌的主题。所有角色之间的关系以及所有音乐都向听众传达了完整的故事。克隆人则传达了生活在像美国这样压迫性的国家所带来的被抛弃的感受。

ViVi Vex draws inspiration from her cultural upbringing, incorporating elements of traditional hillbilly, Latino, and Caribbean music into modern genres such as reggaeton, metalcore, punk, noise, and more. ViVi Vex has been through a lot, and she’s been abused, and these are themes in every song she sings. The relationships between all the characters and the music all tell a complete story to the listener. The clones convey the feeling of being abandoned that comes with living in an oppressive country like the United States.

Is there any following plans about ViViVex you can share with us? New album or new trip?

I: ViVi Vex 计划很快制作一张完整的专辑，但首先，克隆人将前往多个国家进行演出。第一站将是中国。这将是克隆人第一次来中国，也是他们第一次离开美国。

ViVi Vex plans to make a full album soon, but first, the clones will travel to several countries to perform. The first stop will be China. This will be the clones' first time in China and their first time outside the United States.
