今天采访到的是来自意大利的Power Speed Metal乐队HoneyBombs，成立于2012年的HoneyBombs乐队受到了Crashdiet、Crazy Lixx、Hardcore Superstar等乐队的影响组建，但是由于一些其他的因素导致乐队在2017年才发行了第一张正式专辑“Wet Girls And Other Funny Tales”，这张专辑发行之后乐队便受到了意大利歌迷和乐评人的好评和喜爱，优质的编曲，令人难以忘记的旋律，是这支乐队最大的亮点，鼓手的表现稳定，平稳，歌手干净吗，清澈的演唱也是这张专辑最大的亮点，优秀的制作也让这张专辑表达出了他们的创作理念，乐队也凭借这张专辑迅速成为意大利一支非常优秀的乐队并且成为了各大音乐节的重要嘉宾，今年乐队发行了他们的最新专辑“Berserk”，在新专辑发行之际杂志也与乐队取得联系进行了一次专访！

Hello, nice to meet you and thank you very much for being able to participate in this interview. I think this is the first time for your band to be interviewed by China magazine. First of all, let's say hello to all the fans and friends. When was HoneyBombs founded? How did you form this band? Do you remember the scene?

H: 你好，很高兴见到你！这是我们第一次接受中国杂志的采访，我们感到非常荣幸。我们想向所有来自中国的金属狂热者问好，希望你们能欣赏我们的音乐。Honeybombs项目始于2012年，当时在欧洲，尤其是在北欧（Crashdiet、Crazy Lixx等），爆发了一股新的Glam/Street Hardrock风潮。我们很喜欢（现在也很喜欢）这种声音，因此我们决定从Hardcore Superstar等乐队中汲取灵感，组建一支乐队。在那段时期，乐队的演出令人兴奋，非常鼓舞人心。

Hello, nice to me you too! Yeah, this is our first interview with a Chinese magazine, and we are so honoured of this. We wanna say hello to all metal maniacs from China and we hope you'll appreciate our music. Honeybombs project started in 2012 when in Europe exploded a new glam/street hardrock scene, expecially in northern Europe (Crashdiet, Crazy Lixx, and so on). We loved (and we love already) that sound, so we decided to start a band taking inspiration from bands like Hardcore Superstar. In that period the scene was exciting and very inspiring.

V: 你们乐队更换了一些成员。为什么第一代成员退出了乐队？新成员是如何加入乐队的？你对新成员的工作满意吗？

Your band has changed some members. Why did the first generation members quit the band? How do new members join the band? Are you satisfied with the work of the new members?

H: 人生的道路有时会出现分岔。原因不是唯一的，真相也不是唯一的。有很多原因会让人改变对音乐的看法。我们想把项目提升到一个更专业的水平，提高歌曲创作和现场表演的质量。新成员是一股自然之力，现在我们已经准备好在世界范围内摇滚了！

Sometimes in life, the paths diverge. There is not an only one reason and there isn't a truth. There are so many reasons why sometimes someone change his point of view about music. We wanted to bring the project to a next - more professional - level, upgrading in quality of songwriting and live performance. New members are a force of nature, now we are ready to rock over the World!

V: 你们的每一位成员都是具有丰富创作经验的音乐家。能谈谈你们的创作经历吗？我相信你们的创作经验会激励更多的年轻音乐家！

Each of your members is a musician with rich creative experience. Can you tell us something about your creative experience? I believe that your creative experience will inspire more young musicians!

H: HoneyBombs乐队的每个人都很早就开始玩音乐，积累了丰富的经验。音乐中的创造力是一个包袱，装满了我们对待的每一个舞台、创作的每一首歌曲、录制的每一张专辑。我们每时每刻都在演奏新的作品，因为我们一直在成长，在不断地进化和蜕变。事实上新专辑与上一张专辑有了更大的不同：更清晰、更激进、更成熟。

Everyone in HoneyBombs started to play music in early age, bringing with an important wealth of experience. The creativity in Music is a baggage that fills up every stage we treat, every song we create, every album we record. We play new stuff every moment because we are alredy growing up, and costantly evolving and transforming. In fact new album is more different from the last: more articulated, more aggressive, more mature.

V: 你们的录音效果非常好。这张专辑是在哪个录音棚录制的？哪位制作人为你们制作了专辑？我知道你们的新专辑即将发行。这张专辑的录制过程顺利吗？

Your recording effect is excellent. In which studio did you record the album? Which producer of yours made the album for you? I know that your new album will be released soon. Is the recording process of this album going smoothly?

H: 谢谢！我们在不同的录音室录制了不同的部分：人声和混音在Riccardo Studer，出色的作曲家和录音师的Time Collapse Studio进行，部分人声和所有鼓声在Giuseppe Orlando，出色的录音师和实力派鼓手的Outer Sound Studios进行，吉他和合成器在Rotten Tubes工作室（HoneyBombs 工作室内）进行，最后由Alessandro Del Vecchio，出色的音乐家、出色的歌唱家、出色的大师在他的Ivorytears Music Works进行母带处理。整个工作流程历时两年，缓慢而细致。

Thank you! We have recorded sections in different studios: Vocals and mixing in Time Collapse Studio by Riccardo Studer (an excellent composer and sound engineer), some vocals and all drums in Outer Sound Studios by Giuseppe Orlando (a great sound engineer and a solid drummer), guitars and synth in Rotten Tubes studio (in the HoneyBombs' studio) and the final mastering work by Alessandro Del Vecchio (a great musician, excellent vocalist, a great Maestro) in his Ivorytears Music Works. the entire workflow lasted in two years, it was slow and meticulous.

V: 你们的音乐主题是什么？为什么选择这样一个音乐主题？你们想通过这样一个音乐主题表达什么？歌词是谁写的？他的灵感来源是什么？

What is your music theme about? Why do you choose such a music theme? What do you want to express through such a music theme? Did you write the lyrics? Who wrote these lyrics? What was his inspiration?

H: 大部分歌词都是我们的主唱Andrew Skid写的。即将发行的专辑是一张概念歌词专辑。我们想讲述一个故事，故事的主人公--讲故事的人，经历了心理和精神上的转变，从破坏性的、非常沮丧的阶段转变为积极勇敢的阶段。是一个存在的大问题，但没有人愿意去解决它。音乐则是由整个乐队创作的。音乐自然流畅，充满了强劲的反问句和致命的旋律。

Most of the lyrics are written by Andrew Skid, our singer. The forthcoming album is a concept lyric one. We wanted to tell a story about a person, the main character - the storyteller, who experiences a psychic and mental transformation, from a destructive and very depressed phase, to a positive and courageous one. The elephant in the room is that big problem that exists, but no one wants to deal with it. The music, instead, is composed by the band entire. Music flows naturally, thinking about some powerful refrains and killer riffs.

V: 你的第一张专辑是在2017年发行的，直到今年你还没有准备好发行你的最新专辑。为什么你多年来没有发布任何新作品？

Your first album was released in 2017, and you are not ready to release your latest album until this year. What is the reason why you haven't released any new works for many years?

H: 我们花了这么多年时间制作这张新专辑有很多原因：首先是因为我们改变了自己的风格和金属流派。第二个原因与第一个原因有关，是乐队的一些老成员退出了：他们不同意新的歌曲风格。第三个原因是我们这些年在各地现场演出的重要经验。

There are many reasons why we have spent all these years to produce the new album; first of all because we have changed our style, our metal genre. We started with a new idea of composition, with more intricated riffs and more speed songs, with massive drumming sections. the second reason, linked to the first, is the quit of some old members of the band: they didn't approve the new style of the songs. The third reason is the important experience we did in these years playing live everywhere.

V: 你们的第一张专辑在Sliptrick Records唱片公司发行，最新专辑在Triad Rec唱片公司发行。你们是如何与这两个品牌取得联系并进行合作的？你们对这两个品牌的工作满意吗？

Your first album was released in Sliptrick Records and your latest album was released in Triad Rec. How did you get in touch with these two brands to cooperate? Are you satisfied with the work of these two brands?

H: 我们非常感谢Sliptrick Records，是它让我们制作了首张专辑“Wet Girls and Other Funny Tales”。这张专辑是我们当时所能制作的最好的专辑。它是我们当时的完美写照。现在我们与 Underground Symphony唱片公司签订了合约，这是一个重要的金属唱片公司，我们的许多偶像都曾在该公司录制过专辑（如 Labyrinth、Sabaton、Secret Sphere 等）。

We are so grateful to Sliptrick Records which allowed us to produce our debut album "Wet Girls and Other Funny Tales". That album was the best We could make at that time. It's a perfect snapshot of what we were. Now we have singed a deal with Underground Symphony that's an important metal label, many of our idols have recorded their albums with this label (Labyrinth, Sabaton, Secret Sphere, and so on).

V: 首先祝贺你们乐队即将发行的最新专辑，旋律优美，Riff 强悍，Solo 精彩。鼓手们稳定的发挥使你们的作品更加频繁。歌手的感情和坚韧的演唱给我留下了深刻的印象。您如何看待自己的作品？新专辑和老专辑有哪些变化？

First of all, congratulations on your band's upcoming latest album, beautiful melody, tough Riff, and some wonderful Solo. The steady play of drummers has made your works more frequent. I was deeply impressed by the singer's feelings and tough singing. What do you think of your own works? What are the changes between the new album and the old album?

H: 谢谢你的评价，我们非常感激。我们为自己的作品感到骄傲，因为我们付出了很多努力来制作这张我们非常在意的作品。这些年来音乐家变了，类型变了，主题也变了，我们需要宣泄内心所有的东西。两张专辑之间发生了很多变化，其中最重要的一点是：我们从Hard Rock变成了一种Speed Metal乐。

Thank you for your words, we appreciate a lot. We are proud of our work, because we worked so hard to make this work, which we care about so much. over the years the musicians have changed, the genre has changed and also the topics, we needed to vent all the things we had inside. Many things are changed between two albums, one is the most important: we have changed from hard rock to a kinda of speed metal.

V: 作为一支老牌乐队，你们参加过很多音乐节。哪些音乐节给你们留下了深刻的印象？能谈谈当时的气氛吗？2025年你们还会参加哪些音乐节？

As an old band, you have participated in many music festivals. What music festivals left a deep impression on you? Can you tell us about the atmosphere at that time? What other music festivals are you going to attend in 2025?

H: 我们与许多优秀的乐队合作过，每一场演出、每一个舞台都很特别。我们参加过的所有音乐节都给我们留下了美好的回忆。也许最棒的是与Vinnie Moore共度的夜晚！

We have played with so many good bands and every gig, every stage was special. There isn't one over all, we have excellent memories of all the festivals we attended. Maybe the best was the night with Vinnie Moore!
