今天采访到的是来自德国的Death/Black Metal乐队HKSPK，组建于2023年的HKSPK乐队全名为as Hello Kitti Scum Porn Killer，这个名字的由来是因为一个贴纸上面标注的这段话，所以乐队决定使用这个名字，但是由于乐队感觉这个名字非常像一支Grindcore乐队的名字，所以2026年乐队将名字改为HKSPK也就是as Hello Kitti Scum Porn Killer这个名字的缩写，最初乐队只是排练了一些翻唱Black Metal乐队的作品，第二次排练乐队创作了属于自己的作品，也就是“Holy Scum”，这首歌也成为了第一张专辑的主打歌曲，2024年乐队发行了第一张专辑“Holy Scum”，凶狠，阴暗，邪恶的Riff，精准，快速的鼓点，残暴的演唱让这张专辑很快得到更多歌迷的关注，支持，2025年乐队发行了新的EP专辑“The Human Butcher”也得到了高度的评价，今年乐队再次发行了新的单曲，在新单曲发行之际杂志与乐队取得联系进行了一次专访！

Today we’re interviewing the German death/black metal band HKSPK. Formed in 2023, HKSPK’s full name is “as Hello Kitti Scum Porn Killer.” The band chose this name because it was printed on a sticker, but since they felt it sounded very similar to the name of a grindcore band, in 2026 they changed their name to HKSPK—an acronym for “as Hello Kitti Scum Porn Killer.” Initially, the band only rehearsed covers of Black Metal songs, but during their second rehearsal, they composed their own track, “Holy Scum,” which became the lead single of their debut album. In 2024, the band released their first album, “Holy Scum,” featuring ferocious, dark, evil riffs, precise and fast drumming, and brutal vocals quickly garnered the album attention and support from more fans. In 2025, the band released a new EP, “The Human Butcher,” which also received high praise. This year, the band released another new single, and to mark the release, the magazine reached out to the band for an exclusive interview!

Hello there—it’s a pleasure to meet you, and thank you so much for taking part in this interview. I believe this is the first time your band has been interviewed by a Chinese magazine, so perhaps we could start by having you say hello to all your Chinese fans? HKSPK is a very young band, formed in 2023; your full name is "Hello Kitti Scum Porn Killer." How did the band come together? Is there a specific meaning behind the name, and who came up with it?

H: 首先，向所有在中国阅读这篇采访的读者问好！这实际上是我们首次接受中国杂志的采访，这对我们来说非常酷。我们于2023年在德国勃兰登堡成立了HKSPK。一切始于一次即兴演奏。在第一次排练中，我们演奏了一些简单的黑金属翻唱曲目；到了第二次排练，我们就开始创作自己的作品了。那首第一首歌最终成为了"Holy Scum"。从那一刻起，我们就明确了要继续创作自己的音乐。

至于HKSPK这个名字：这个名字源自几年前我们看到的一张贴纸。上面是穿着乳胶服装的Hello Kitty。我们觉得这太搞笑了。

有趣的是：这个名字恰好契合我们音乐中那种荒诞的风格。我们的歌词有时很怪异，乐队名字也是如此。但我们决定只使用简写版，因为很多人以为我们是 grindcore 乐队之类的。真遗憾，现在我们只能将就着用这个名字了（哈哈）。

First of all, hello to everyone reading this in China! This is actually our first interview for a Chinese magazine, which is pretty cool for us. We started HKSPK in Brandenburg, Germany, in 2023. It began with a jam session. At our first rehearsal we played some simple Black Metal covers, and at the second rehearsal we already started writing our own material. That first song eventually became “Holy Scum”. From that point on, it was clear that we wanted to continue with our own music.

As for the name HKSPK: The name is based on a sticker that we saw a few years ago. It showed Hello Kitty in a latex costume. We thought it was hilarious.

The funny thing is: it fits our music, due to it's absurd direction. Our lyrics are sometimes weird and so is the band name. But we decided to only use the short version, because a lot of people thought we were a grindcore band or something. Too bad, now we're stuck with it (haha).

V: 既然你们三个人都是乐队的创始成员，考虑到你们彼此非常了解对方想要创作的音乐风格，歌曲创作过程想必会更加顺畅自然。能否跟我们聊聊你们的创作过程？我注意到你们乐队没有贝斯手，贝斯部分是如何处理的？

Since all three of you are original members of the band, you likely find the songwriting process flows more naturally, given how well you understand the kind of music each of you wants to create. Could you tell us a bit about your creative process? I noticed your band doesn't have a bass player; how do you handle the bass parts?

H: 我们的大部分歌曲都是从一个吉他即兴段落，或者排练时灵光一现的创意开始的。以此为基础，我们会共同打磨，直到感觉结构恰到好处。我们并不遵循某种严格的公式。有时一首歌能很快成型，而有些歌则需要花费更多精力。关键在于我们三人都参与其中。合作三年以来，我们在音乐上已经相当了解彼此，但有时仍会产生分歧。这或许是件好事，因为否则一切都会变得过于可预测。

关于贝斯：在我们所在地区，很难找到符合我们音乐风格的乐手，尤其是贝斯手。为了营造更宏大的音墙效果，我们开始使用7弦吉他（调至B标准调），并且总是将吉他音箱的低频和贝斯音量调大。这让音色更具力量感。同时，我们总是把中频调低。我们不喜欢中频（哈哈）。这就是我们的做法。至于录音室录制环节，吉姆是自己录制歌曲中的贝斯音轨的。

Most of our songs start with a guitar riff or an idea that comes up during rehearsal. From there we work on it together until the structure feels right. We don’t follow one strict formula.

Sometimes a song develops very quickly, while other songs need much more work. The important thing is that all three of us are involved. After three years together, we know each other pretty well musically, but we still disagree sometimes. That’s probably a good thing, because otherwise everything would become too predictable.

Regarding the bass: It's very hard to find musicians in our region that fit our musical style, especially bassists. To create a bigger wall of sound we started using 7 string guitars (tuned to B Standart) and we always turn up the low ends and bass on our guitar amps. That gives the tone some power. And we always turn down the mids. We don't like mids (haha). That's the way we do it. As for the studio sessions, Jim is recording the bass tracks on the songs by himself.

V: 你们专辑的录音质量非常出色。是在哪家录音室录制的？制作人是谁？你们刚刚发行了一首新单曲——录音过程顺利吗？

The recording quality of your album is outstanding. Which studio did you record at, and who produced it? You’ve just released a new single—did the recording process go smoothly?

H: 谢谢！关于HKSPK，有一点非常重要：我们几乎所有工作都是自己完成的。"Heimkehr"是在Room13完成录制、混音和母带处理的，整张专辑由HKSPK负责制作。与我们早期的作品相比，我们学到了很多。"Holy Scum"是刻意追求更粗粝的风格，而"Heimkehr"在保持侵略性的同时，制作上更加清晰有力。当然，录制过程并非从头到尾都一帆风顺。从来都不是这样的。但我们对最终结果非常满意。"Torture"和"Rot In Despair"是专辑中的前两支单曲，它们已经展现了"Heimkehr"截然不同的两个侧面。

Thank you! One thing that is very important to understand about HKSPK is that we do almost everything ourselves. Heimkehr was recorded, mixed and mastered at Room13, and the entire album was produced by HKSPK. Compared with our earlier releases, we learned a lot. Holy Scum was intentionally much rawer, while Heimkehr has a clearer and more powerful production without losing the aggression. Of course the recording process wasn’t perfect from beginning to end. It never is. But we are very happy with the result. “Torture” and “Rot In Despair” were the first two singles from the album, and they already show two very different sides of Heimkehr.

V: 你们乐队的标志设计得很漂亮——是谁设计的？你们的专辑封面采用了真实照片；这些专辑的封面设计是谁负责的？

Your band's logo is beautifully designed—who created it for you? Your album artwork features real photographs; who designed the artwork for these albums?

H: 谢谢！我们的主唱兼主音吉他手吉姆是在前往演出现场的火车上设计出HKSPK标志的。他用黑体字体写下了乐队名称，并添加了一些纹理效果，比如滴落痕迹和小孔。关于专辑封面设计有一处小更正。"Heimkehr"的封面并非照片，而是一幅由德国艺术家Steffen Schmolke专门为HKSPK创作的原创油画。他还创作了单曲"Rot In Despair"的封面，以及歌词册中几幅较小的木刻版画。"Heimkehr"的画作描绘了一位裹着绷带的人坐在桌前写作。对我们来说，这幅画面与专辑标题完美契合。它并非关于快乐的归家，而是关于一个人带着伤痕归来，将所经历的一切都带在身上，并试图通过写作来消化这些经历。人可以身体上归来，但精神上却未必能完全回归。这就是"Heimkehr"背后的理念之一。

Thank you! Our singer and lead guitarist Jim created the HKSPK logo on a train ride to a concert. He wrote the band name with a blackletter font and added a few textures such as drippings and small holes. There is one small correction regarding the artwork. The cover of Heimkehr is not a photograph. It is an original oil painting that German artist Steffen Schmolke created specifically for HKSPK. He also created the artwork for the single “Rot In Despair” and several smaller woodcuts for the booklet. The Heimkehr painting shows a bandaged figure sitting at a table and writing. For us, the image fits the title perfectly. It isn’t about a happy return home. It is about someone returning wounded, carrying everything that happened with them and trying to process it through writing. You can return physically without ever completely returning mentally. That is one of the ideas behind Heimkehr.

V: 你们乐队的所有专辑目前都以数字形式发行；有没有考虑过发行CD版本？有没有计划与一家知名唱片公司合作？

All of your band's albums have been released digitally; have you considered releasing them on CD? Do you have any plans to partner with an established record label?

H: 其实这方面有些新消息。"Heimkehr"不仅会以数字形式发行。我们正在制作50张限量版CD，届时将通过我们的Bandcamp平台发售。到目前为止，我们一直都是独立运作的，"Heimkehr"也将以独立形式发行。如果遇到合适的机会，我们当然愿意与唱片公司合作。但我们并不只是为了说“我们签约了”而签约。这必须是一种真正能互利共赢、并能促进乐队发展的合作关系。目前，独立运营也给了我们很大的自由度，我们非常珍视这一点。

There is actually some news on that. Heimkehr will not only be released digitally. We are producing a limited edition of 50 CDs, which will be available through our Bandcamp. Until now we have done everything independently, and Heimkehr will also be released independently. We are definitely open to working with a label if the right opportunity comes along. But we don’t want a label just so we can say that we are signed. It would have to be a partnership that actually helps both sides and allows the band to develop. For now, being independent also gives us a lot of freedom, and we value that.

V: 你们音乐的主题是什么？为什么选择这个主题，又希望通过它表达什么？你们会为音乐创作歌词吗？歌词是由谁创作的？

What is the theme of your music? Why did you choose this theme, and what do you wish to express through it? Do you write lyrics for your music, and who creates them?

H: HKSPK背后并没有单一的主题。"Heimkehr"并非传统意义上的概念专辑。歌词取材于乐队内部的经历、身边人的故事，以及我们以自身方式诠释的历史题材。因此，在同一张专辑中，你可以找到战争、复仇、绝望、记忆、失控、黑色幽默以及个人经历等元素。我们并不想围绕乐队虚构出一个庞大的世界观。只要你足够细心观察，现实本身就提供了足够的创作素材。大部分歌词是由全乐队共同创作的。虽然有几首歌的歌词仅由Jim撰写，但这并非常态。我们的歌词以一种怪诞荒谬的方式讲述我们亲身经历的故事，同时也唱出我们耳闻目睹的事件。

There isn’t one single theme behind HKSPK. Heimkehr is not a traditional concept album. The lyrics are based on experiences within the band, stories from people around us and historical subjects that we interpret in our own way. So on the same album you can find war, revenge, desperation, memory, loss of control, dark humour and personal experiences. We don’t want to invent some huge fictional universe around the band. Reality gives you enough material if you look closely enough. Most of the lyrics are written by the whole band. There are a some songs where only Jim wrote the lyrics but that's not the standart. Our lyrics are telling storys that we've experienced in a weird absurd way and we sing about events that we have heard about.

V: 首先，恭喜你们发行了新单曲。你们的音乐将死亡金属的残暴与技术性，与黑金属的阴暗、冰冷氛围融为一体；显然你们非常注重作曲。鼓点令人惊叹，主唱那残暴的演绎更是专辑的一大亮点。你们对自己的作品有何看法？这张新专辑与你们之前的作品相比如何？

First of all, congratulations on the release of your new single. Your music combines the brutality and technicality of death metal with the dark, icy atmosphere of black metal; you clearly pay great attention to composition. The drumming is stunning, and the vocalist's brutal delivery is a highlight of the album. What are your thoughts on your work? How does this new album compare to your previous ones?

H: 非常感谢！对我们来说，"Heimkehr"绝对是我们迄今为止最出色的作品。与"Holy Scum"和"The Human Butcher"相比，差异相当巨大。我们的演奏水平有所提升，但更重要的是，我们在共同创作歌曲方面变得更加娴熟。我们依然钟爱充满攻击性且直截了当的歌曲。例如"Torture"，时长不到两分钟，毫不拖泥带水。但"Heimkehr"也为歌曲留出了更多的呼吸空间。"Rot In Despair"、"Rain In The Face"，尤其是同名主打曲，展现了乐队更阴暗、更具氛围感的一面。专辑开篇极具攻击性，越往后越显氛围感。这种发展对我们来说至关重要。我们不想五次录制同一张专辑。"Heimkehr"听起来依然是HKSPK的风格，但也展现了我们未来的发展方向。

Thank you very much! For us, Heimkehr is definitely the strongest thing we have done so far.

The difference compared with Holy Scum and The Human Butcher is pretty huge. We have become better musicians, but more importantly, we have become better at writing songs together. We still love aggression and very direct songs. “Torture”, for example, is less than two minutes long and doesn’t waste much time. But Heimkehr also gives the songs more room to breathe. “Rot In Despair”, “Rain In The Face” and especially the title track show a much darker and more atmospheric side of the band. The album starts very aggressively and becomes increasingly atmospheric towards the end. That development was important to us.

We don’t want to record the same album five times. Heimkehr sounds like HKSPK, but it also shows where we can go next.

V: 你参加过哪些音乐节或现场演出？哪些给你留下了深刻印象？能否描述一下当时的氛围？2026年你计划参加哪些现场演出？

Which music festivals or live performances have you attended? Which ones left a deep impression on you, and could you describe the atmosphere at the time? What live performances do you plan to attend in 2026?

H: 我们已经曾有机会与Asagraum、Enisum和Waldgeflüster等乐队同台演出。我们还曾参加过M.U.R. Open Air、Godless Mountain Open Air、Summer Ends音乐节，并在捷克共和国的布尔诺举办过一场压轴演出。虽然有过许多精彩的时刻，但在德国境外演出总是别具意义。你前往一个完全不知道会发生什么的地方，然后那些素未谋面的人会对你的音乐产生共鸣。那种感觉无与伦比。另一段难忘的经历是Godless Mountain音乐节。演出结束后，音响工程师告诉我们，HKSPK是他当天最喜欢的演出。这样的时刻会永远铭刻在心。2026年剩下的演出包括在柏林与Hangover In Minsk的联合演出（10月9日），还有一场名为Spreewaldmosh的活动（9月26日），以及我们的专辑发布演唱会（11月28日）

We have already had the chance to play with bands like Asagraum, Enisum and Waldgeflüster. We’ve also played M.U.R. Open Air, Godless Mountain Open Air, Summer Ends and a headline show in Brno in the Czech Republic. There have been a lot of great moments, but playing outside Germany is always something special. You travel somewhere where you don’t really know what to expect, and then people who have never met you before react to your music. That feeling is hard to beat. Another great experience was Godless Mountain. After our show, the sound engineer told us that HKSPK had been his personal highlight of the day. Things like that stay with you. The remaining shows for 2026 are in Berlin with Hangover In Minsk (09.10), then theres a event called Spreewaldmosh (26.09)and our record release concert (28.11)

V: 你们刚刚发行了一首新单曲——这是否意味着新专辑即将问世？能否分享一下你们2026年的计划？

You’ve released a new single—does this signal that a new album is on the way? Could you share some details about your plans for 2026?

H: 是的！我们的第二张专辑"Heimkehr"将于2026年9月11日发行。专辑共收录八首曲目，总时长25分21秒。"Torture"和"Rot In Despair"是该专辑的前两支单曲。专辑发行后，我们的主要目标是将这些歌曲搬上舞台。我们希望举办更多演出、参加更多音乐节，并触达德国以外的听众。与此同时，我们已经开始展望2027年，并努力制定更充实的巡演计划。让我们拭目以待，看看这会带我们走向何方。

Yes! Our second album Heimkehr will be released on September 11, 2026. It contains eight tracks and runs for 25:21 minutes. “Torture” and “Rot In Despair” are the first two singles from the album. After the release, the main goal is to get these songs on stage. We want to play more shows, more festivals and reach people outside Germany as well. At the same time, we are already looking ahead to 2027 and trying to build a much stronger live schedule. We’ll see where it takes us.

V: 虽然你们是一支非常年轻的乐队，但你们的作品却异常成熟。我今后也会继续关注和支持你们，也希望这次专访能鼓励更多中国乐迷加入其中。在采访即将结束之际，你们想对中国的乐迷说些什么吗？

Although you are a very young band, your work is incredibly mature. I will continue to follow and support you, and I hope this interview encourages more Chinese fans to do the same. As we wrap up, is there anything you would like to say to your fans in China?

H: 首先，感谢你们给我们这次接受专访的机会。2023年我们在勃兰登堡组建HKSPK时，我想我们谁都没料到，三年后竟能与中国的一家杂志谈论我们的音乐。光是这一点就他妈的太酷了。致所有抽出时间聆听HKSPK音乐的中国乐迷：谢谢你们。我们希望你们能喜欢9月11日发行的"Heimkehr"。谁知道呢——也许有一天，我们也有机会在中国现场演绎这些歌曲。那绝对是我们不会拒绝的。

First of all, thank you for giving us the opportunity to do this interview. When we started HKSPK in Brandenburg in 2023, I don’t think any of us expected that three years later we would be talking about our music with a magazine in China. That alone is pretty fucking cool.

To everyone in China who takes the time to listen to HKSPK: thank you. We hope you enjoy Heimkehr when it comes out on September 11. And who knows – maybe one day we’ll get the chance to play these songs in China as well. That would definitely be something we wouldn’t say no to.
