今天采访到的依旧是老朋友Melkor的另外一支新乐队Nox Infernum，组建于2025年的Nox Infernum乐队是一支非常年轻的乐队，也是由Melkor一个人组建并且于2026年发行了第一张正式专辑“Maledictum Noctis”，依旧还是一张邪恶，冷酷无情的作品，充满了阴暗的氛围和冰冷，邪恶的Riff，38分钟将你带入无尽的黑暗，在新专辑发行之际杂志与Melkor再次取得联系进行了一次专访！

Today's interview is still with Nox Infernum, another new band of old friend Melkor. Nox Infernum, formed in 2025, is a very young band formed by Melkor alone and released their first official album "Malefictum Noctis" in 2026. It is still an evil and ruthless work, full of dark atmosphere and cold, evil Riff. In 38 minutes, it will take you into endless darkness. On the occasion of the release of the new album, the magazine contacted Melkor again for an exclusive interview!

Hello Melkor, we meet again. This time we are going to interview the Nox Infernum band, which was formed in what year? How did you form this band?

M: Nox Infernum诞生于2025年，它源于一种个人需求，即试图传达一种精神状态，而非仅仅创建另一个音乐项目。该乐队是在一段深刻的内省时期中诞生的，当时光明的消逝和对内心黑暗的接纳已成为不可避免之事。Nox Infernum并非以传统方式“组建”而成；它作为我自身意志的延伸而显现，是一个用来表达潜藏于内心之中的永恒黑夜的载体。

Nox Infernum was conceived in 2025, born from a personal need to channel a spiritual state rather than simply create another musical project. It emerged during a period of deep introspection, where the collapse of light and the embrace of inner darkness became unavoidable. The band was not “formed” in the traditional sense; it manifested as an extension of my own will, a vessel to express the eternal night that dwells within.

This band is still by yourself, so you can create according to your own ideas when creating again. Can you introduce your creative process?

M: 我的创作过程从设计上就是一种孤独的体验。一切始于氛围、愿景、感觉和内心状态，这些都需要被表达出来。随后，旋律片段和结构便如仪式性的咒语般逐渐成形。我创作音乐并非为了取悦或娱乐他人；我创作是为了召唤。每首曲目都是逐层构建而成的，吉他、键盘、鼓和人声都服务于同一个目的：即打开通往深渊的门户。沉默、孤立和纪律是必不可少的。只有在孤独中，才能唤出Nox Infernum的真正精髓。

My creative process is solitary by design. Everything begins with atmosphere, visions, sensations, and internal states that demand expression. From there, riffs and structures take shape like ritual incantations. I do not write music to please or entertain; I write to invoke. Each track is built layer by layer, guitars, keys, drums, and vocals all serving the same purpose: to open a gateway into the abyss. Silence, isolation, and discipline are essential. Only in solitude can the true essence of Nox Infernum be summoned.

V: 这张专辑是否仍由你本人进行录制和制作？

Is this album still recorded and produced by yourself?

M: 是的，"Maledictum Noctis"完全是我在完全掌控之下录制、制作、混音和母带处理的。这种程度的控制力是必要的，以确保作品的纯粹性。任何外部影响都不能干扰音乐背后的灵性意图。每一个声音、每一种质感、每一缕黑暗气息都必须被精确地塑造成我所设想的样子。

Yes. Maledictum Noctis was entirely recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by me. This level of control is necessary to preserve the purity of the vision. No outside influence can interfere with the spiritual intent behind the music. Every sound, every texture, every breath of darkness had to be shaped exactly as I envisioned it.

V: 你是否也亲自设计了乐队的标志？专辑艺术作品的创作灵感是什么？

Did you also make the band's logo yourself? What is the inspiration for the creation of album artworks?

I created the logo myself. It reflects the essence of Nox Infernum: sharp, ritualistic, and rooted in the symbolism of eternal night. As for the artwork, the inspiration comes from the themes that permeate the album—spiritual decay, desecration, and the triumph of shadow over light. The visuals must mirror the music: cold, oppressive, and evocative of a realm where faith collapses and darkness reigns sovereign.

V: 当你最终决定选择另一家唱片公司来发行你的作品时，Prophetic Productions是如何与你取得联系的？你对在这家公司的工作是否满意？

How did Prophetic Productions contact you when you finally chose another label to release your work this time? Are you satisfied with the job at this brand?

M: Prophetical Productions在听到专辑的早期素材后主动联系了我们。他们对地下音乐界的理解以及对艺术自主权的尊重使这一决定变得非常明确。他们以专业和敬业的态度对待此次发行，我对他们所完成的工作感到满意。与一个重视真实性且不会试图削弱创作愿景的唱片公司合作非常重要。

Prophetical Productions reached out after hearing early material from the album. Their understanding of the underground and their respect for artistic autonomy made the decision straightforward. They have treated the release with professionalism and dedication, and I am satisfied with the work they have done. It is important to collaborate with a label that values authenticity and does not attempt to dilute the vision.

What is the music theme of this band about, why did you choose this music theme, and what do you want to express through this music theme? Have you created any lyrics and what inspired these lyrics?

M: Nox Infernum的主题核心是精神上的否定，撒旦主义并非一种戏剧性的姿态，而是一种对救赎的拒绝以及对堕落的接纳。音乐表达了希望的消逝、神圣性的毁灭以及永恒黑夜的统治。我亲自撰写了所有歌词，灵感来源于内心的反思、神秘主义符号以及对黑暗作为通向超越之路的沉思。这些歌词并非故事，而是咒语。

The thematic core of Nox Infernum is spiritual negation, Satanism not as a theatrical pose, but as a rejection of redemption and an embrace of the fall. The music expresses the dissolution of hope, the annihilation of the sacred, and the sovereignty of eternal night. I wrote all the lyrics myself, drawing inspiration from inner reflection, occult symbolism, and the contemplation of darkness as a path to transcendence. The lyrics are not stories; they are invocations.

First of all, congratulations on releasing your first official album this year. This album is fierce, brutal, dark, continuous Riff cold, and terrifying. Do you have any personal opinions on this album?

M: "Maledictum Noctis"恰恰体现了它所要表达的含义：一次堕落之旅。它原始、冰冷且无情，因为这就是其背后愿景的精髓所在。我并不将其视为一系列歌曲的集合，而将其看作一个分为十个章节的单一仪式。这是迄今为止对Nox Infernum最纯粹的呈现，也是未来作品将继续拓展黑暗领域的基石。

Maledictum Noctis represents exactly what it was meant to be: a descent. It is raw, cold, and merciless because that is the essence of the vision behind it. I see it not as a collection of songs, but as a single ritual divided into ten chapters. It is the purest manifestation of Nox Infernum to date, and a foundation upon which future works will continue to expand the darkness.

What new work do you have to do after the release of this album? For example, when creating or recording new songs, can you share some information with everyone?

M: 我已开始着手构思新的素材。整体方向将始终忠于Nox Infernum的精神，但会更加阴暗、更加压抑，且更具精神破坏性。我正在探索更深层次的氛围感和仪式感。一切都不会仓促进行；只有当内心之火要求时，创作才会发生。

I have already begun shaping new material. The direction will remain faithful to the spirit of Nox Infernum, but even darker, more suffocating, and more spiritually destructive. I am exploring deeper layers of atmosphere and ritual intensity. Nothing will be rushed; creation only happens when the inner fire demands it.
