今天采访到的是来自意大利的老牌Heavy Metal乐队No Remorse，最初由于The Outlaws和The Container Sound乐队宣布解散并且两支乐队成员之间早已认识，而且他们的音乐爱好也是相同的，所以决定组建一支全新的乐队，由此No Remorse乐队诞生，组建不久之后乐队发行了第一张EP专辑“Live One”，这张专辑发行之后便获得很多的好评，这张EP专辑发行之后并没有选择继续发行作品，而是在沉寂了几年之后在2004年发行了他们的第二张EP专辑“No Remorse”，2010年乐队在意大利My Graveyard Productions厂牌发行了他们目前唯一的正式专辑“Sons of Rock”，这是一张精彩的作品，整齐，强劲，有力的Riff，干净的音效，精准的鼓点，强劲有力的演唱，让所有歌迷重新回到了80年代的时光，2016年乐队发行了最新的EP专辑“Wolves”依旧保持着之前作品的1所有特点，前不久杂志与No Remorse乐队取得联系进行了一次采访！

Today we're interviewing Italy's veteran heavy metal band No Remorse. Originally formed after The Outlaws and The Container Sound announced their disbandment, the members—who were already acquainted and shared similar musical tastes—decided to create a new band, thus giving birth to No Remorse. Shortly after forming, the band released their debut EP “Live One,” which garnered widespread acclaim upon its release. Rather than immediately releasing more material, the band entered a period of hiatus. They returned in 2004 with their second EP, “No Remorse.” In 2010, they released their sole full-length album to date, “Sons of Rock,” through Italy's My Graveyard Productions. a brilliant work featuring tight, powerful riffs, clean sound, precise drumming, and forceful vocals that transported fans back to the 80s. In 2016, the band released their latest EP “Wolves,” maintaining all the hallmarks of their previous work. Recently, our magazine connected with No Remorse for an interview!

V: 你好兄弟，很高兴见到你，非常感谢你参与这次访谈。相信这是你们乐队首次接受中国杂志的采访。首先请向所有中国乐迷问好。NO REMORSE成立于1999年，是支历史悠久的乐队。最初是谁提议组建这个乐队的？

Hi brother, it’s a pleasure to meet you and thank you very much for participating in this interview. I believe this is the first time your band has been interviewed by a Chinese magazine. First of all, let’s greet all the Chinese fans. NO REMORSE was founded in 1999 and is a long-standing band with a long history. Who originally proposed forming this band?

N: 感谢这次访谈，让我们有机会被伟大的中国人民所知晓……无悔乐队诞生于两支走向终结的乐队——The Outlaws乐队与The Container Sound乐队的余烬之中。我们早已相识，重新聚首后发现彼此志趣相投，无悔乐队便由此诞生。

Thank you for this interview, which gives us the chance to be known by the great Chinese people… No Remorse was born from the ashes of two other bands that had reached their end: The Outlaws and The Container Sound. We already knew each other, we got back together, and discovered we had a lot in common, and that’s how NO REMORSE was born.

V: 你们乐队的所有成员都属于第一代。对于一支成熟乐队而言，维持这样的基本阵容并非易事。当然这种阵容对创作作品也大有裨益，因为彼此之间非常熟悉。能否介绍一下你们的创作过程？我相信你们的创作方式会给许多年轻音乐人带来启发。

All the members of your band belong to the first generation. For an established band, maintaining such a basic lineup is not an easy task. Of course, this kind of lineup is also very useful for creating works because you know each other very well. Can you introduce us to your creative process? I believe your creative process will be an inspiration for many young musicians.

N: 我们的创作过程非常简单：有人提出一个粗略的想法，然后每个人都添砖加瓦。当所有人都对结果满意时，一首新歌便诞生了。

Our creative process is very simple: someone brings a rough idea, and then each of us adds something. When everyone is satisfied with the result, a new song is born.

V: 你们乐队的专辑录制效果令人惊叹。请问是在哪家录音室完成的？由哪位制作人操刀？2024年发布的最新单曲录制过程是否顺利？

The recording of your band’s album is really impressive. In which studio have you recorded your albums? Which producer worked on the album for you? Did the recording process of your last single, released in 2024, go smoothly?

N: 我们一直都在Pharafernalia录音室录制作品，因为那里有我们熟悉且信任的人。我们自主制作曲目，这意味着从录音、混音到母带处理的每个环节我们都全程参与……至于新单曲的发行，可以说一切都很顺利。

We have always recorded at Pharafernalia Studio because there are people we know and trust. We produce our own tracks, meaning we are always present in all phases of recording, mixing, and mastering… As for the release of the new single, I would say yes, everything went smoothly.

V: 你们乐队的专辑发行频率并不高。自1999年首张EP问世后，第二张EP直到2004年才推出，2010年和2016年各发行一张专辑，而最新单曲则要等到2024年。这种缓慢的节奏背后有何缘由？

Your band’s album release frequency is not very high. After releasing your first EP in 1999, you released the second EP only in 2004, two albums in 2010 and 2016, and your latest single in 2024. What is the reason for this slow pace?

N: 因为我们是独立乐队，既没有（也不想要）外部压力。只有当我们确信能为听众带来真实作品时，才会发行专辑。

Because we are an independent band and we don’t have (and don’t want) external pressures. We release albums only when we are convinced we can offer something authentic to our audience.

V: 你们的Logo设计非常简洁，是两个单词的缩写。是谁为你们设计的标志？另外，你们的专辑封面设计也很独特。这些封面是谁创作的？

The design of your logo is very simple, it’s an abbreviation of two words. Who designed your logo for you? Also, your album covers are uniquely designed. Who created these covers for you?

N: 同样地，我们所有工作都亲力亲为。贝斯手Franco设计了乐队Logo……我们当即就爱上了这个设计。专辑封面也是如此：大家共同抛出创意，当找到令所有人满意的方案时，它便成为正式封面。

In this case too, we do everything ourselves. Our bassist Franco designed the band logo… and we liked it immediately. The album covers are the same story: we throw out ideas together, and when we find one that satisfies everyone, it becomes the official cover.

V: 谁为你们2024年最新单曲拍摄并撰写了剧本？

Who filmed and wrote the script for your latest 2024 single?

N: 这次我们同样参与了剧本创作。我们与Mayhem音乐视频的导演Jonathan Fenu分享了构思，他完成了出色的工作。他提出了自己的创意，最终视频由此诞生。

Again, we were part of the scriptwriting process. We shared our ideas with the director Jonathan Fenu of Mayhem Music Video, who did an excellent job. He presented his ideas, and from that, the video was born.

V: 你们乐队的音乐主题是什么？为何选择这些音乐主题，又想通过它们表达什么？歌词也是你们创作的，由谁创作的，灵感来自哪里？

What is your band’s musical theme? Why did you choose these musical themes, and what do you want to express through them? You also wrote the lyrics. Who created them and what inspired them?

N: 乐队的音乐主题无疑是硬摇滚与重金属……选择这类音乐纯粹源于个人喜好……我们无意创作商业化作品，只专注于享受创作本身。歌词部分由主唱Maurizio负责……总体而言，我们的歌词几乎都聚焦现实生活……想表达什么？或许只是我们对事物的独特视角。

The band’s musical theme is undoubtedly hard rock and heavy metal… We chose this type of music simply because it’s the music we like… We’re not interested in making commercial music; we care about doing what we enjoy. Regarding the lyrics, our singer Maurizio takes care of them… In general, our lyrics almost always talk about real life… What do we want to express? Probably just our point of view on things.

V: 2010年，你们与My Graveyard Productions合作发行了首张正式专辑“Sons of Rock”。当初是如何与这家厂牌建立合作关系的？贵乐队近期刚与Wanikiya唱片签约，这次合作又是如何促成的？能否简要介绍这两家厂牌？对他们的运作是否满意？

In 2010, you collaborated with My Graveyard Productions to release your first official album Sons of Rock. How did you get in touch with this label to collaborate? Your band has just signed a contract with the record label Wanikiya. How did this collaboration come about? Can you briefly introduce these two labels? Are you satisfied with their work?

N: 我们收到了两家唱片公司的邀约……我对My Graveyard的工作相当满意。至于Wanikiya，虽然合作时间不长，但他们目前展现的实力让我充满期待。

We were contacted by both labels… I am quite satisfied with the work done by My Graveyard. Regarding Wanikiya, we started collaborating recently, but what they have done so far gives me hope.

V: 首先，恭喜你们的乐队在2024年发行了最新单曲。你们的创作令我深受震撼——复杂的编曲、复古的吉他即兴段落、动人的旋律，以及乐手们精妙的配合。那充满激情的演唱更让我深受触动。你们如何评价自己的作品？新单曲与前作相比有哪些变化？

First of all, congratulations to your band for releasing your latest single in 2024. Your work deeply impressed me, with complex arrangements, retro riffs, wonderful melodies, and excellent coordination among all musicians. The passionate singing deeply moved me. What is your opinion about your work? Are there changes between the new single and the previous one?

N: 非常感谢您的赞美。我们很高兴您喜欢我们的作品。当然，变化是必然的：我们努力避免在不同作品中重复自己，同时始终忠于NO REMORSE的本质。

Thank you very much for the compliments. We are very happy that you liked our work. Surely, there are changes: we try not to repeat ourselves from one work to another while still staying true to what NO REMORSE is.

V: 作为一支历史悠久的乐队，你们参与过许多音乐节。哪些音乐节给你们留下了深刻印象？能否描述当时的现场氛围？2025年是否有新音乐节邀请你们？

As a historic band, you have participated in many music festivals. Which ones left a deep impression on you? Can you describe the live atmosphere of that time? Are there new music festivals in 2025 inviting you?

N: 目前我们没有安排任何音乐节演出……每个演出场地都会给我们留下独特印记。当然，面对五千人表演时肾上腺素飙升的感觉，远非在仅有五十人的小酒馆演出可比。但无论何种规模，我们始终全力以赴，绝不辜负每一位到场观众的期待。

At the moment, we don’t have any festivals scheduled… Every place we play leaves us with something. Of course, there are places where you play in front of 5,000 people, and that gives a bigger adrenaline rush compared to playing in a small pub with maybe only 50 people. But we always give our best because we don’t want to disappoint anyone who comes to see us.

V: 你们计划在2025年发行新专辑吗？能和大家分享些信息吗？

Do you plan to release a new album in 2025? Can you share any information with everyone?

N: 目前我们已发布了音乐视频"Morphine"。明年年初将推出新单曲，现仅能透露其标题："ONE MORE TIME"。我们将视情况发展，再决定是否发行新专辑。

For now, we have released our video Morphine. At the beginning of next year, we will release a new single, of which I can only reveal the title: ONE MORE TIME. We will see how it goes, and then decide whether to release a new album.

V: 你们是如此优秀出色的乐队，我将永远支持追随。也希望通过这次访谈吸引更多中国乐迷关注支持。最后想对中文区粉丝说些什么吗？

You are an excellent and great band, and I will always support and follow you. I also hope to attract more Chinese fans to follow and support you through this interview. Is there anything you would like to say to your Chinese fans at the end?

N: 非常感谢大家的支持……说实话，直到现在我们还没有中国粉丝……但对于即将成为我们粉丝的朋友们，我衷心感谢你们给予我们机会，让我们有机会在你们美丽的国家被人们所知晓。
