塔兰祖的勇士 - 秘鲁Grindcore乐队Demonio Tallan

这是杂志第一次采访到来自秘鲁的乐队，说到秘鲁可能很多中国歌迷对于这个国家并不是很了解，秘鲁目前在中国人气最高的乐队应该是Anal Vomit这支乐队，其实在秘鲁有很多优秀的乐队，比如Gore，Ad Terrorem，Antropomancia，Audiotrauma，Avoidant，Cotard Syndrome，Criogenetic，Decomposed Flesh of Humanity，Ecumenismo Infernal，Evil Damn，Genoxidio，Ghastly，Humanicidio，Impalement，North Profaned，Mortuus等众多优秀乐队，其中很多地下优秀的乐队并没有被所有人熟知，今天我采访到的就是来自这个国家一支非常优秀的Old Grindcore乐队Demonio Tallan，成立于2003年的Demonio Tallan乐队作为秘鲁资历最老的乐队之一，发行了众多的作品，与很多乐队合作发行了Spilt专辑，Demonio Tallan乐队以Old School Grindcore风格为主，还加入了一些Death Metal，Crust等元素，让Demonio Tallan乐队的作品更加的原始，在前前不久Demonio Tallan乐队成员Fernando Infante与杂志取得联系进行了一次采访！

This is the magazine's first interview with a band from Peru, speaking of Peru may be a lot of Chinese fans of this country is not very well known, Peru is currently in China's most popular band should be Anal Vomit this band, in fact, in Peru there are a lot of good bands, such as Gore, Ad Terrorem, Antropomancia. Audiotrauma, Avoidant, Cotard Syndrome, Criogenetic, Decomposed Flesh of Humanity, Ecumenismo Infernal, Evil Damn, Genoxidio, Ghastly. Humanicidio, Impalement, North Profaned, Mortuus and many other great bands, many of these underground bands are not well known by everyone, today I interviewed a very good Old Grindcore band from this country, Demonio Tallan, formed in 2003. Founded in 2003, Demonio Tallan is one of the oldest bands in Peru, with a long list of releases to their credit, including the Spilt album, Demonio Tallan's Old School Grindcore style, with some Death Metal and Crust thrown in for good measure. Demonio Tallan's work is even more raw, and not long ago Demonio Tallan member Fernando Infante got in touch with the magazine for an interview!

Hello brother nice to meet you and thank you for getting in touch with me for this interview, I think this is the first time your band has been interviewed by a Chinese magazine, first of all say hello to the Chinese fans, in what year was Demonio Tallan formed? How did you come up with the idea for the band and what is the meaning of the name Demonio Tallan?

F: Demonio Tallán给你们所有极端和嘈杂的中国歌迷问好。Demonio Tallán乐队成立于2003年，旨在实现我们的梦想，演奏我们深爱的音乐。Demonio Tallán对我们来说意味着铭记祖先和当地的文化--TALLÁN，特别是它的行为和价值观，和平但为我们的权利而战，同时不忘我们所拥有的其他黑暗部分。

Demonio Tallán gives you, all extreme and noisy chinese fans. Demonio Tallán starts at 2003 to make a dream came true to play the music that We love so much and listened for a long time since the benginings. DEMONIO TALLÁN, means for us the idea of remembering ancestral and local culture called TALLÁN, specially it behavior and values, pacific but fighter for our rights without forget the other dark part all We have.

V: 你们乐队现在有多少成员，都是第一代成员吗？有没有更换过乐队成员？

How many members are in your band now and are you all first generation members? Have you ever changed band members?

F: 实际上，我们有三名成员：George Seminario（祖传咆哮/吉他手）、Adolfo Infante（嘈杂的贝斯手）和Fernando Infante（鼓手）最后两位是乐队创始人，Demonio Tallán总是包括其他具有相同感觉的塔兰勇士。

Actually We are three members, George Seminario (ancestral growls/guitar), Adolfo Infante (noisy bass) and Fernando Infante (drums). The two last ones are band founders. DEMONIO TALLÁN always included others tallán Warriors that have the same feel.

How does your band usually write songs, can you describe the creative process? What studio do you record your albums in for your band's albums? Which producer produced your albums?

We have a lot of themes of our reality to become a song, some of them were writed in ascestral dialect, called SEC, as like ALMACCHI TALLANCCA song. Adolfo usually give us the idea of the lyric and music and the others put their feelings. The song is played in rehearsal and Little by Little, reh by reh, the song has the final versión that We like. We released several demos using concerts records. We redorded some tracks in NO TE MOLESTES RCDS, FACUNDO ROCK prods and other, that they become albums. We are our producer.

V: 你们乐队的音乐主题是什么？你们想通过这样的音乐主题表达什么？你们有歌词部分吗？谁来写这些歌词？

What is the theme of your band's music about? What do you want to express through such musical themes? Do you have a lyrics section, who writes these lyrics and what inspires him?

F: 我们的主题是塔兰人的行为和价值观、和平但争取我们权利的斗士，这与我们国家和全世界的实际社会和政治问题相吻合。我们的大部分歌词都是Adolfo写的，他的灵感来自歧视、种族主义、仇恨、政治虐待、塔兰传奇、社会斗士、媒体操纵等等。

Our themes are Tallán behavior and values, pacific but fighter for our rights, that aply to actual social and politics problems of our country and over the world. The most of our lyrics are written by Adolfo and He inspires about discrimination, racismo, hate, political abuse, tallán legends, social fighters, media manipulation and more

V: 你们发行了很多专辑，其中大部分是Spilt专辑，你们是如何与这些乐队取得联系并进行合作的？

You've released a lot of albums, mostly Spilt albums, how did you get in touch with these bands to collaborate?

Yeah, We have a lot of splits and many of a new ones are expecting to be released, you could listen them in our bandcamp The bands whom maked a Split with us are from several countries and continents, they are from Southamerica, Center of America, North of America, Europe, Asia, and others. Many of them, We knew them in virtual fests during pandemic and They were happy to make a Split with DEMONIO TALLÁN.

V: 你们的专辑都是自己发行还是由正规唱片公司代为发行？你们如何与这些唱片公司联系合作？你对他们的工作满意吗？

Do you all release your albums on your own or do regular labels release them for you? How do you get in touch with these labels to collaborate? Are you satisfied with their work?

F: 我们通过自己的方式发行一些专辑，其他专辑由DIY乐队厂牌发行并与国外厂牌合作发行纪念专辑或合辑，这些厂牌都做得很好。

We release some our released with own ways, others by DIY bands label, and collaborate in tributes or compilations were release by foreign labels with a great work well done.

Your band's logo is very simple and rough, but this form of design is my favourite form of design because I can easily remember your band's name and this logo is also very much in line with Grindcore's style, who designed this logo for you? Most of your album artwork is based on real photographs, and I found our country's flag on one of the albums, who designed this album artwork for you?

Thank you for your appreciation of our logo. That is the meaning we want to express. We received several logo contributions of Friends. The reality photos are the best art work. Many of art Works are made by the bands who participated in the Split.

You are an old school grindcore band, but there are some new elements in your work, some experimental elements, your guitars are very neat, this is similar to the way some death metal is played, I was impressed by your drummer's crazy playing, and your singer sings in an old school way. , which makes your compositions even more chaotic and crazy, do you have any thoughts on your compositions?

Any of us brings an idea of a new song, each of us listen that idea and We start a process of progresive contributions that go making the best versión of the song. All of us came of several kind of metal bands and other styles. That and our composition freedom rule allow to give our songs different contributions as like as you discovered.

What are some of the live shows that your band has been to, and what live shows have impressed you, and can you describe the atmosphere?

DEMONIO TALLÁN plays in whatever place since a Little gig to a great fest. We love live shows where people participate a lot, give us regards, talk us and drink with us. Each of one has special remmembers for us. We could to mentioning an international fest called "SUDAMERICA GRITA" in Ecuador, 2006 year, We play with other bands from several countries and We were the only band from Perú, a lot of bangers and beer.

Is there anything new your band is working on for 2024? Like writing, recording some new songs or taking part in more live shows, can you shed some light on that?

DEMONIO TALLÁN is very active in 2024, We are participating in many gigs throughtout the 2024 year, We are playing new songs in gigs, for example We released a song about the Gaza genocide, We have another song about the rotten politicians from Perú, because They are delinquents, the worst politician age of Perú, and other songs. We hope reléase this year new álbum.

I know a little bit about the metal scene in your country, for example I really like Gore bands in your country, but I would still like to know more about the Peruvian metal scene through you, can you tell us a little bit about the Peruvian metal scene?

Sure, peruvian scene borned since 80s. The bands always were growing under an underground scene, making gigs, releasing albums by their own, creating their own videos to promote their music. The peruvian metal scene has several kinds of metal, heavy metal, speed, thrash, black, death, grindcore, gore, etc. Some of peruvian metal bands played in international gigs and a lot of them are known in over the world. We grew listening peruvian metal bands, They inspired us a lot.

V: Demonio Tallan对中国乐迷来说还是一支非常新的乐队，但我希望通过这次采访，能有更多的中国乐迷关注、支持和了解你们乐队，最后你们想对中国乐迷说些什么？

Demonio Tallan is still a very new band to Chinese fans, but I hope that through this interview, more fans from China will pay attention, support and get to know your band, what would you like to say to Chinese fans in the end?
