今天采访到的是一支来自芬兰的Stoner Metal乐队Black .44，2010年乐队的创始人Mikko和Pete给大家播放了一些创作的Demo歌曲，大家都很喜欢这些歌曲于是2011年Black .44成立，black.44的名字含义来源于black.44口径左轮手枪，在Logo中的手枪就是代表乐队的名字，乐队成立之后乐队参加了很多的音乐节活动，2015年发行了第一张正式专辑“No Blanks”，高质量的制作和录音，赢得了芬兰歌迷的关注，2016年录制了第二张专辑，但是由于Jason出国工作的原因导致乐队暂停了活动，但是最终乐队还是在2025年发行这张搁置多年的新专辑“Bloodlines”，在新专辑发行之际芬兰的Inverse Records厂牌帮助杂志和这支优秀的乐队取得联系进行了一次专访！

Today's interview is with Black .44, a Stoner Metal band from Finland. In 2010, the founders Mikko and Pete played some demo songs for the band, and everyone liked them so much that Black .44 was formed in 2011. The revolver in the logo represents the band's name. After the band was formed, the band participated in many festivals and released their first official album ‘No Blanks’ in 2015, with high quality production and recordings, which won the attention of the Finnish fans, and recorded their second album in 2016. The second album was recorded in 2016, but the band took a break due to Jason's work abroad, but the band finally released the long-shelved new album ‘Bloodlines’ in 2025, and on the occasion of the release of the new album Inverse Records helped the magazine to get in touch with the band for an interview! V: 你好Jason很高兴认识你，非常感谢你参加这次采访，首先向所有的中国粉丝问好，Black .44成立于2011年，距今已经13年了，是谁首先建议组建这个乐队的，Black .44这个名字的含义是什么？

Hello Jason nice to meet you and thank you very much for participating in this interview, first of all say hello to all the fans in China, Black .44 was formed in 2011, it is a 13 years old band, who suggested to form this band in the first place, and what is the meaning of the name Black .44?

J: 大家好，谢谢你的邀请。Black .44的故事始于2010年，当时我给我的朋友Mikko和Pete播放了一些自己的Demo我们很喜欢，所以我们决定组建一支乐队。简单的名字black.44暗示了一个black.44口径左轮手枪，这可以在logo中看到。

Hello all and thanks for having me. The story of Black .44 began in 2010, when I played some of my own demo songs to my friends Mikko and Pete and they liked them. So we decided to start a band. Simple The name Black .44 suggests a black .44 calibre revolver, as seen in the logo as well.

V: 你们乐队的四位成员都是第一代成员吗？你们换过成员吗？新成员是如何加入乐队的？你对新成员满意吗？

Are all four members of your band first generation members? Have you guys ever changed members? How did the new members join the band? Are you happy with the new members?

J: 乐队的四个成员都是原始的，我们的团队是完美的，不必更换成员。

All four members in the band are original. Our team is perfect and there has not been any reason to change members.

V: 你的乐队是如何创作的，你能描述一下你的创作过程吗？新专辑的创作过程如何？

How does your band's work and can you describe your creative process? How did the writing process for the new album go?

J: 基本上所有的歌曲和歌词都是我写的。乐队是围绕着我的歌曲创建的，两张专辑的所有歌曲都是我写的。Antti补充了一些主吉他安排和solo的过程。

Basically I write all the songs and lyrics. The band was created around my songs and I have written all the songs for both albums. Antti has supplemented the process with some lead guitar arrangements and solos.

V: 你们乐队的录音棒极了，你们是在哪个录音室录制这张专辑的？你的专辑是哪个制作人制作的？新专辑的录制进展顺利吗？

Your band's recordings are amazing, what studio did you record the album in? Which producer produced your album? Is the recording process for the new album going well?

J: 我们与Teemu Liekkala先生在芬兰的工作室合作了这张专辑，他混合并掌握了它。我在比利时布鲁塞尔的Blackout工作室录制了我的声音。Janne Lunnas先生也为这张专辑做出了贡献，他在他的工作室录制了Antti的主吉他。在Liekkala先生的协助下，我亲自制作了这张专辑。

We have worked with Mr Teemu Liekkala on this album at his studio in Finland. He mixed and mastered it. I recorded my vocals at Blackout Studios in Brussels, Belgium. Also Mr Janne Lunnas contributed to the album, he recorded Antti´s lead guitars at his studio. I have produced the album myself, with assistance from Mr Liekkala.

V: 你们乐队的logo很简单，但是这种设计形式是我最喜欢的，因为我很容易记住你们的名字，这个logo是谁为你们设计的？你的专辑封面设计也很独特，谁为你设计的这个专辑封面？

Your band's logo is very simple, but this form of design is one of my favourite because I can remember your name easily, who designed this logo for you? Your album artwork is also very unique in design, it's all very simple, who designed this album artwork for you?

J: 我自己设计的lOGO，当我们在2010年开始与乐队。在这两张专辑中我们都依赖于我们的好朋友Riku Turunen先生，他为专辑设计了所有的艺术作品。我们都喜欢简单而有力的设计，现在我们的两张专辑都有这种设计。

I have designed the logo myself, already when we started with the band in 2010. With both of our albums, we have relied on our good friend Mr Riku Turunen, who has designed all the artwork for the albums. We all like simple and powerful designs and both our albums now have that.

V: Inverse Records发行了你的两张专辑，这是一个很棒的厂牌，你们是如何联系到一起工作的？你对你在这个厂牌的工作满意吗？

Inverse Records released two of your albums, it's a great label, how did you get in touch to work together? Are you happy with your work on this label?

J: 我们对与Inverse Records的合作非常满意。这家唱片公司与芬兰的金属乐队有很多合作，他们对这位艺术家非常有帮助，总是尽最大努力支持这位艺术家。

We have been very satisfied with our collaboration with Inverse Records. This record label is very much in use with metal bands in Finland and they are very helpful towards the artist and always do their best to support the artist.

V: 你的音乐主题是什么？你为什么选择这个音乐主题？你想通过这个音乐主题表达什么？你有没有创作歌词部分，谁写的这些歌词，他的灵感是什么？

What is the theme of your music about? Why did you choose this musical theme? What do you want to express through this musical theme? Did you create any lyrics parts, who wrote these lyrics and what was his inspiration?

J: Black.44一直是我灵魂的一面镜子。我开始写这些歌是为了反映一些我亲眼看到和经历过的事情或者从侧面看。一些我想要分享、评论或通过音乐向世界大声喊出来的东西。有些歌曲也批评了我们生活的世界，一些个人，一些情况等。不知何故音乐在我的一生中一直是一个治愈的过程。Black .44的歌曲和歌词不是最简单的，但它们是我们生活的现实，不管你喜不喜欢。

Black .44 has always been a mirror to my soul. I started writing these songs to reflect some of things I have seen and lived through, personally or watching from the side. Something I wanted to share, to comment on or to shout it out to the world through music. Some of the songs also criticize the world we live in, some individuals, some situations etc. Somehow the music has been a healing process for me throughout my whole life. The songs and the lyrics of Black .44 are not the easiest ones but they are the reality we live in. Like it or not.

V: 你的乐队发行专辑比较慢，你在2015年也就是乐队成立四年后发行了第一张专辑，你的第二张专辑将在2025年发行，为什么你选择在十年之后发行第二张专辑？

Your band has been slow to release material, you released your first album in 2015, which was also four years after you formed, and your second album will be released in 2025, why did you choose to release your second album after ten years?

J: 自2010年以来，我们非常活跃，发行了一张EP，然后发行了第一张专辑。我们在芬兰各地积极演出，并于2016年开始制作第二张专辑。不幸的是我出国工作，乐队不得不暂停。我花了五年的时间来决定我们应该发行这张我们已经开始制作的专辑。所以现在它终于出来了，大家都可以欣赏

We were quite active since 2010, with one EP release and then the first album. We played shows all around Finland actively and started working on the second album in 2016 already. Unfortunately for the band, I moved abroad for work and the band had to be put on pause. It took me five years to decide that we should release the album we already had started working on. So now it´s finally coming out for everybody to enjoy

V: 首先祝贺你们在2025年发行第二张正式专辑“Bloodlines”，这是你们乐队10年后的最新作品，我对你们的作品印象非常深刻，整个专辑缓慢优美的旋律和一些快速的段落，这使得你们缓慢优美的旋律贯穿整个专辑，一些快速的段落，这使你们的工作更加愉快，一个清晰，干净的声音和一些醇厚的背景人声，这使你与众不同。还有一些很棒的独奏，这是专辑的亮点。与旧专辑相比新专辑有什么变化吗？

First of all congratulations on the release of your second official album ‘Bloodlines’ in 2025, the latest work of your band after 10 years, I was very impressed with your work, slow, beautiful melodies throughout the album and some fast passages, which makes your Slow, beautiful melodies throughout the album with some fast passages, which makes your work even more enjoyable, a clear, clean voice with some mellow backing vocals, which makes you unique, and some great solos which are the highlights of the album. Have you changed anything on the new album compared to the old one?

J: 这张新专辑"Bloodlines"与第一张相比，在各个方面都有很大的不同。“No Blanks”是一张非常直截了当，非常棒的Rock和Metal专辑。在“Bloodlines”中，歌曲之间的情绪变化非常大，对我们来说这张专辑是对所有与我们一起长大的乐队的谦卑的感谢，比如Metallica， Pantera, Sepultura， Type O Negative和Rammstein等等。更多的影响在那里被听到和感受到。我希望许多听众能够感受到不同的共鸣和影响，尽管它仍然包裹在独特的Black .44声音和感觉中。

This new album, “Bloodlines”, is very different in all the aspects compared to the first one. “No Blanks” is a very straightforward, kickass rock and metal album. On “Bloodlines” the moods change quite drastically between the songs and for us, this album is a humble thank you to all the bands we grew up with, like Metallica, Pantera, Sepultura, Type O Negative and Rammstein just to name a few. Lots more influences are there to be heard and felt. I hope many of the listeners can feel the different vibes and influences although it´s still wrapped in unique Black .44 sound and feeling.

V: 作为一支伟大的乐队，你们参加了很多现场演出，哪些现场演出给你们留下了深刻的印象，2025年你们还计划参加哪些音乐节？

You guys have played a lot of live shows as a great band, what live shows have impressed you and what other festivals are you planning on playing in 2025?

J: 不幸的是目前没有现场演出的计划，我们珍惜过去所拥有的所有机会。现场演奏是一项艰苦的工作，但在最好的情况下也是非常有益的。

Unfortunately there are no live shows planned at the moment. We cherish all the opportunities we have had in the past. Playing live is hard work but it is also very rewarding at its best.

V: 2024年就要结束了，你们2025年除了出新专辑还有什么计划？你能透露一些信息给大家吗？

With 2024 coming to a close, what are you guys working on in 2025 besides releasing a new album? Can you reveal some information to everyone?

J: 现在最重要的事情是把专辑推出来让人们听。2025年晚些时候会发生什么仍然是个谜……

The biggest thing now is to get the album out for people to listen to. What happens later in 2025 is still a mystery…

V: 你们是一个很棒的乐队，虽然你们只发行了两张专辑，但是这两张专辑可以证明你们的优秀，我会一直支持和关注你们的乐队，我也希望通过这次采访让更多的中国歌迷关注和支持你们的乐队，最后你有什么想对你们的中国歌迷说的吗？

You are a great band, although you only released two albums, but these two albums can prove your excellence, I will always support and pay attention to your band, I also hope that through this interview let more Chinese fans pay attention to support your band, in the end do you have anything you would like to say to your Chinese fans?

J: 我们对你的溢美之词感到非常高兴。音乐是无国界的，如果我们在中国也有粉丝的话，我们会很高兴的！继续Rock吧！！！

We are very pleased by your kind words. Music is without boundaries and we are very happy if we get some fanbase built in China as well Rock on!!!
